H&R Block

I had read the only only review, and as it was four years ago, I hoped that it would have a better experience. I was severely disappointed.
The person helping me was polite, but he did NOT know what he was doing. I was doing a standard return — no deductions, nothing complicated. He had to google whether or not my paperwork was what the IRS wanted.
Aside from his lack of knowledge of my forms, he also made multiple clerical errors. I had to sit on the edge on my chair and lean across his desk so I could ensure that I corrected all of his typos. He misspelled my name, address, and frequently keyed in the wrong numbers. He tried to key in the information from my mortgage into the computer form for my education information.
This was absolutely the WORST service I have ever had. It cost me $ 250 to have someone else key in information that I ended up having to double check anyway.
I had been a loyal H and R Block customer since I started filing my taxes. Turbo tax, here I come.

This is the worst tax help I have ever had! I normally don’t write reviews but this time I will.
My wife and I went in to have our taxes done and it has been nothing but trouble. Forms were filled out wrong, stuff wasn’t mailed, and then we lost $ 500 on our tax returns. And then when I call to complain the lady says its not worth it to even fight for the money we didn’t get back.
I will never use them again. And I hope that they get their act together. People should have the confidence to know, that when they are getting their taxes done, they will be done right.
