I LOVETHISPLACE! I had doubts about the grounds because it’s off the five, but it’s beautiful out there. The buildings also fit the site with a rustic down to earth feeling. The air streams have a fire pit perfect for out door cooking! The staff is warm and accommodating and I love the out door tubs. The coupled tubs are very romantic. ;)

This is not a good place to bring children. First off its a clothing optional hot springs so right there that should tell you that it may not be the best idea to have children here. There are many places where children are not welcome. While I was there I observed several hazards to children as well, such as pools that are not gated, solar panels and electrical gear that is not child safe, not to mention that you have to bring all your own water. This place is great for adults but its just not for kids. Follow my advice and have a relaxing weekend here for adults… leave the kids at home, you’ll thank me later!

Heaven on Earth. We happened upon this place about 13 years ago and have been coming here at least 2 – 3 times a year, but most definitely every New Years Eve. As soon as we set foot on the grounds, a warm blanket of «calm» comes over us and it’s THE way to unwind and reset. The place is rustic, yet decadent in its charm. If you want quiet, relaxation time, this is the place for you. We are so glad about the new no pets policy, that was the only thing that has ruined our trips in the past, no need for noisy pets or their mess. Merci Mercey.

I stayed at Mercey Hot Springs several months ago and had a wonderful time. While the location and facilities are beautiful, this review is primarily for Justin, the resident Body Worker and his massage program. Justin was able to squeeze me in last minute for an hour long massage(which was greatly appreciated). His technique is very different from any other massage I’ve gotten — definitely not the type of masseuse who just goes through the motions. He really paid attention to the way each of my muscles were working and tailored the massage to what would help my body relax the most. I can easily say it’s the best massage I’ve ever had and plan on booking another one next time I’m back at Mercey. Thanks again Mercey Hot Springs and Justin for providing a comfortable, relaxing evening!

We used to enjoy camping here every year atleast a couple of weekends a year, but with their new no pet policy we will not return. Camping without our furry family member is just not camping… The price is per per person and there really isn’t much in the area. Make sure you have everything you need because there won’t be any«quick» trips to the store.

I was surprised at what a gem this place was. Camping here is so peaceful and you have access to the hot springs all night! Our site had a pair of long eared owls living in the trees above us. They were noisy but adorable! The waters are incredibly relaxing, staff friendly but respectful of privacy. We will be back!

My five star rating is based on value compared to other hot springs we have experienced ANDTHEFACTTHATTHISIS A UNIQUEOFF-GRIDEXPERIENCE! Larry took us on a tour of his solar system which is quite impressive, to us, as we have lived off-grid on the BAJA for 23 years and also off grid in the mountains for 15 years. The facility is very old and a wonderful work in progress. It is an old hot springs resort, but while it is old, it is also very obvious that everything is being upgraded as time progresses. We enjoyed the clothing optional tubs near the only cabin with a kitchen(which we loved!). The real marvel is that Larry has harnessed the power of the SUN to provide power at a COMMERCIALRESORT! We GETIT… but most people have no idea what a uniquely difficult thing this is to accomplish! I hope future visitors will ask more questions and try to learn how wonderful it is to receive power from the SUN! I wish Larry would have some signs posted to explain how the system works and provide a walking map to point to all that is required so people could more fully understand what a unique experience they are having in addition to enjoying the hot springs relaxation. IFPEOPLEUNDERSTOODMOREABOUTSOLARPOWERTHEYMIGHTAPPRECIATETHENECESSARYREQUESTSTOCONSERVEENERGY! We are so impressed! We believe that if more visitors understood how unique this resort is they would enjoy it even more! Please enjoy all the facilities and ALSO look up and marvel at where you are and that you have ELECTRICITY!!!

OMG loved loved loved this Place. I can not stress enough. In the middle of nowhere, off the grid and only 2 ½ hrs from home through the backroads of Hollister(Panache rd/Hwy 25). No cell coverage, no internet either unless you get a code from the office. You do not need it. We came up for the day, but I wish we stayed the night. We will next time as its only $ 10 more per person to tent camp. Loved the peacefulness and the grounds. The tubs are great and deep. We came by on Saturday, March 14, and it was at least 80 degrees! Awesome weather. Desert/farm land setting. The owner, Larry, I believe, that was his name, was very friendly, we chatted with him for awhile about the area. He has been doing alot of work to the place over the years, and it shows. He has cabins and a new home to rent now too. Plus spaces for rvs/trailers too. They will be working on the old White house for a restaurant in the near future, which would be a great addition to the place. We used the pool, tubs and sauna. and the showers– the only draw back with the showers, is all the spring mineral water going through so you don’t get all the minerals off of you. Its not reg water. Im not sure how the cabins are or the bathhouse but the pool shower was like that. That was about it. I noticed they have wheelchair accessablity as well to the tubs and pool area. They offer massage and yoga classes too. I felt great after here. We so will be back again!!! Make sure you are gased up and bring drinking water. They do offer it at the office, but since this area gets hot as heck, Its agood thing to be extra prepared. :-) Im glad several people I know refered me here. :-)

So random mini one night camping trip quick hour and a half drive to the middle of nowhere just to soak and relax. We camped on site E5 which I felt was the best site out of all of them. Its the last site that you can drive too. Nobody was next to us and it was a covered site with lots if tree shade. We soaked in the tubs at night and did some stare gazing which in the middle of nowhere was completely dark and gorgeous. I sat in the sauna for a bit. Its big and very clean… I really wanted to take a shower with some non sulfur water which I couldnt find, the shower water in the restroom smelled worse then the tub waters but it was ok for just one night. Overall they were friendly very accommodating and wouldn’t mind coming back and trying a cabin out!
