A very nice married couple run this place. We got a great deal on some teak furniture and they have home pieces of all types, from furniture to accents. They’ve moved to their new space so call before you go to get the correct address but they cut us a really great deal and delivered the furniture to boot.

Ok, so I bought a house and the first addition was a backyard table! My Realtor and other friends pushed me to Villa and Hut to find fabulous furniture that was just my style. I have to admit it was difficult to catch them open — it seemed that when I stopped by they closed early… so maybe call first! Regardless, I went back and immediately proceeded to put one of everything on my wish list. I was greeted by owner John the minute I walked through the warehouse doors and he was very helpful and friendly, but not pushy. They had the outdoor table and chairs I wanted in stock and delivered it within a week! It was perfect and the chairs are actually comfortable. They have great Teak furniture for indoor and outdoor. They specialize in all handmade furniture made from good timbers… which is funny to say but it shows when you see their pieces. They carry anything from bookshelves to tables to wardrobes and beds! Their website gives a taste… but by no means is close to covering a fraction of all the cool stuff they carry. So, please, stop surfing the World Wide Web and just head to northern liberties to brows these cool goods. John is a great guy and will go out of his way to get you what you need. Peace Out.

OK, this place was cool with me from the moment my friend(who told me I’d love it and that’s what brought me here in the first place) pulled up on the sidewalk on his motorcycle(yes, it was my first time on one, and if I could, I’d totally write a review about that, too). But then in my research to post this I found out that they are an Australian based business and apparently Philly is the only US location. So that merits an extra star in my book, ’cause that means someone across the globe gets how rad we are. Anyway, if you’re looking for anything Buddha related, this is the place. There is also beautiful wood furniture, birdcages/votive holders(my friend and I are coming up with multiple uses for them) and lots of other handcrafted and handcarved items for your home and garden. And when you go in the other room to pay, make sure to check out the jewelry case. If you have a special lady friend in your life, I’m pretty sure you’ll find something for her in there if she’s not the Buddha kind of chick(if she’s into amber or silver or something all naturally, then it’s «business time» for you, my friend).
