One of the best and healthiest food stands on campus, the hot spicy pot is amazing with reasonable price. And people who run it are very friendly, try it!

Best. Noodle soup. On campus. The only place that compares in terms of taste and portion size is the phở at Tai’s. I love coming to Vegan Tree on cold winter days and warming myself up with a spicy bowl of ramen. Be warned: the spicy pot is really really spicy. I eat tons of spicy food and this soup clears out my sinuses every single time without fail.
Pros: price isn’t bad for the portion size. The people who work there are very polite and always smiling. Super tasty! They accept cards (with a small fee).
Cons: like other people have previously mentioned, a lot of the menu isn’t in stock a lot of the time, or it isn’t prepared yet. Because it is a food truck it kinda sucks waiting outside in the freezing cold, but hey, that’s unavoidable.

This is Philadelphia’s #1 best vegan food secret. I could eat their hot pot with fish tofu and veg shrimp every single day of my life and never get sick of it. I now go to grad school at Drexel and I still make the trip to Temple JUST to get this. Worth every single penny. Sometimes it takes a little but for them to make, but it’s consistently amazing and the two people who run it are so friendly and nice.

Health rice is awesome, so is the squash soup and the sweet and sour wonton soup. They often don’t have more than half of the menu in stock though which is really annoying.

Perfect for those rainy/​cold days. The standard hotpot is $ 6, which includes rice cake, glass noodles, tofu, bean curd, napa cabbage, potato, radish and black fungus.
They also have other things you can add for only $ 1 or $ 1.50 extra each! Such as soymeat, fish balls, etc. You can order your hot pot with no spice, mild spice, medium spice, or very spicy.
One more thing, their soy milk is really good and a great complement for the spicy hotpot. And they take card ! But there’s a fee surcharge, percentage based.

This food truck is wonderful! There’s nothing like a steaming spicy hot pot on a cold day! And they have a delightful chocolate vegan cake which is equal parts rich and airy.
It’s always a pleasure to stop by and pick up quality dishes for a decent price. The Vegan Tree food truck is one of the nicest spots on campus for anyone interested in great food!
