I need to preface this review by saying that I didn’t actually buy anything when I went to United Furniture this week. But I will be back to buy a kitchen table and chairs, a dresser, and hopefully more. Right now the whole store is on sale for at least 50% off. The associate who was helping us(more like following us around the store, which was annoying), told us to ask her about any prices and she would see what she could do. The furniture quality seemed far better than IKEA, and less expensive than most of the second-hand pieces you’ll find on Craig’s List. Lots of tables/sofas/love seats to choose from, and even bigger bargains on their floor samples. I’m assuming the sale is happening because they’re closing or moving, and I’m not sure for how much longer they’ll be open, but if you’re in the market for furniture and live in the city, it’s worth the drive up to Franklin Mills area.
