I could live with the disheveled and disorganized layout of this tiny market if the lady behind the counter wasn’t so rude to her customers.

This place is great, I don’t know what I would do without it. Anything you need they have, all at great prices. Awesome hoagies too!

Get a sandwich! Italian hoagie, so good(amoroso rolls). They have breakfast sandwiches as well, however, I have yet to go that route. This place has pretty much everything you would need as a convience/grocery store. This is my go to being so close.

Great little deli/small supermarket. Grab a drink, some basic food items, or a hoagie. Location is good and prices/selection are about what you’d expect from a small family run business. Convenience is key with this place.

This place is great. When you run out of something, or need something in a hurry, or just feel like a snack. Their deli meats are good and tonight I need a lemon for my dinner recipe. If they have one, I will post this. Woo-hoo! Lemons and limes in cold weather! My recipe is saved just before dinner. What more can you ask for?

This is a great little bodega in Fairmount. The owners are friendly, hard-working, and very helpful. Their prices are reasonable, and they offer a fairly wide selection of items. When you buy eggs, they open up the carton to make sure none are broken for you. That’s the kind of service you can expect at Tom’s.

Besides the weekend evening hours being spotty at times(to be expected from a family owned deli/convenient), Trust is fantastic. Friendly staff, reasonable pricing for the convenience and good selection. Not much to you can ask for. Wish they sold septa tokens as half the neighborhood catches the 48 and 32 there.

I really like this place. I live pretty close and more often than not I choose it over the ghetto BP down the road for things like milk.

Tom’s Trust is the little neighborhood deli and convenience store that could. Family owned and run, it’s right at the bus stop, and a 5 minute walk away from a neighborhood apartment. The family is pleasant, efficient, and puts in long, hard hours. Sometimes things have obviously been sitting on the shelves for a while, but that’s not a major issue really. As for the store itself, it’s a hodge podge assortment of things you normally find at convenience stores(flour, sugar, milk, etc etc) and some pleasant surprises — once I found the lemon extract I needed for a baking recipe here! They also have pretty decent sushi for a very affordable price. Also, their hoagies are great, and also very cheap. Mostly, during the school year, I come here in the morning for coffee. It’s $ 1 for a medium(a large medium) cup, and although this may be a blasphemy, I like it a lot better than the coffeeshop across the street. They also have an ATM with low fees(for ATM fees, anyway). Tom’s Trust is definitely the kind of small, neighborhood place that you’d want to have near you.
