Quaint café with nice ambience, good coffee, and awesome butternut squash soup. Very homey feel. The menu is very creative. Will be back to explore its culinary prowess.

great breakfast/brunch place. kinda small. big menu. great if you’re into coffee. I had the jefe sandwich and it was really good. there were a handful of pastries, which there had been more. would definitely go back. light on the wallet. reminded me of Starbucks but with less seating and more breakfast sandwiches

Love this place. Husband gets the El Jefe’s sausage bagel and says it’s the best bagel breakfast sandwich he’s ever had. The egg and cheese bagel has amazing herbs on it! This place is great for studying and very friendly. Also dog friendly.

Amazing little gem! quirky salad concoctions and great iced coffee combined with a super laid back staff and free wifi just makes this my go-to noLibs coffee sopt. Outdoor seating and theres always techno music playing in the background to get my productivity flowing. Decent prices too **and they accept level-up**

Great for a small breakfast. The ham and cheese bagel hit the spot for me. Anything with cheddar is an instant win for me. The barista behind the counter was very sweet, so the service is good.

Inedible. I got an almond milk soy latte and blueberry muffin. The latte was metallic, I chucked it. The wrapper was stuck to the blueberry muffin; I lost 14 of the muffin peeling it off. The top of the muffin had some syrupy stuff on top. Not good. I ended up tossing the muffin too.

My go-to coffee place after Pilates(woohoo Ploome!) I’ve only had the iced coffee but it’s delicious black. I haven’t had the food yet but the menu looks really good. The owner is super nice and helpful, as is the rest of the staff. Great spot!

The red velvet latte was absolutely delicious. I have also tried the yummy cupcakes here as well. I have been in this place a few times. The staff is always super friendly and I look forward to a return visit.

Unique selection of lattes. This is the only café I’ve ever been to that offers almond milk in your latte and it’s delicious. A little pricey on the lattes — but I do enjoy to spoil myself once in a while. Plus the owner is super friendly!

Here’s a hipster, trendy coffee shop that serves up very unique and delicious latte variations as well as wraps that are also a very tasty treat. The staff are very friendly and are willing to chat with you. Also, I really like the colors and set up in this place.

I visited the Sweet Spot spontaneously while in NoLibs for a free concert. We were frozen and desperately in need of some liquid warmth(be it alcohol, coffee, or hot chocolate). The Sweet Spot is maybe a block away from the Piazza and at first glance, it’s a normal coffee shop. Walk in and you find a cozy little burnt orange surprise complete with breakfast sandwiches, baked goods, and lunch wraps, as well as tons of novelty coffee. I got the«coco mocha» and the boyfriend got the Red Velvet coffee. His tasted like puffs of sweet icing and cake; mine was a much more chocolate-y take on the traditional mocha coffee. Both hit the spot for sure and for less than $ 3 apiece! As for the food, my friend who was also with us got the breakfast bagel with egg and cheese, which came out piping-hot, super-quickly and with cheddar cheese. This is a big deal because most places with breakfast bagels use American, but the cheddar gave the bagel a better zing. I was about to order a breakfast bagel of my own(but with sausage) when I mentioned out loud to my boyfriend that I wasn’t sure if I wanted the pollo loco wrap. The barista overheard me and told me to get it, that it was the best wrap in Philly. I was convinced and ordered it(and thereafter had much trouble explaining that I got the coco mocha and the pollo loco– I kept saying«coco loco» in later retellings). I haven’t tried every wrap in Philly, but this was definitely the best I’ve had in recent memory. The Sweet Spot grills their wraps, so it came out steaming hot(another bonus on a cold day). Inside was cheddar cheese(whoo!), chipotle sauce, jalapeño, chicken, and mixed green lettuce. The jalapeño seemed sparse, but I was glad not to have too zesty of a sandwich. The chipotle sauce made the sandwich, without a doubt, and the gooey cheddar was pure deliciousness– and it was $ 7. Definitely reasonable for the quality! If I had been hungrier, I would have felt it was a little small, but it was a perfect lunch size. One final note: this place was MOBBED when we got there. The line was almost out of the door, but I got to order within about seven minutes(enough time to check how good this place was on Unilocal). My coffee was ready almost right away and the wrap only took five minutes because it had to be grilled. I was really happy with the quick service and lack of chaos in a very crowded place. The whole staff was efficient and handled the huge crowd well– for lack of a better phrase: mad props, guys. Maybe it was the combination of being cold and very hungry, but I was very pleased with the service and my orders– I plan to return next time I’m in NoLibs and I need a quick bite.

Not a fan of the Sweet Spot– stopped by here to grab a quick coffee and was surprised to see how dead it was. But, upon seeing the lackluster dessert/pastry offerings, and overpriced coffee(a $ 6.00 ‘siphon’ cup? Sorry, you are not Blue Bottle Or Stumptown– not going to pay that!) I wasn’t surprised. The space itself is ok, but I felt like I was in some kind of frozen yogurt-meets-coffee-cafeteria…too much plastic, chrome, and bright colors. Staff were casual and ‘cool’ and seemed like they were just waiting for the day to end. All in all, I guess if you are desperate for a coffee or bottled water you can try your luck but I wouldn’t expect too much.

Red velvet latte=a.m.a.z.i.n.g. Their pollo loco wrap is great too! Friendly service and the owner is even around often to greet the customers. If you are in the area this is definitely a place to stop!

Outdoor seating that’s not mobbed at 6pm? Check! An apple tarte that was too tasty to eat slowly? Check! A peach mango smoothie that so fresh, delicious and perfect I can definitely see making the trek from Wilmington on Septa(eek, gasp!) Just for one of these babies? Check to the checked power! I hate to belabor the point, but come summertime everyone with a blender and a can of frozen juice thinks they can make a smoothie and charge you $ 8 for it… so not the case here, this thing was In-friggin-credible. The perfect accompaniement for Monday night open-mic? Thanks, don’t mind if I do.

Stopped in tonight for some dessert, and was very pleasantly surprised. The desserts are delicious(we got chocolate frozen yogurt and key-lime cheesecake), the coffee is very good, the atmosphere is subdued and comfortable, and the service is top rate. The staff was extremely friendly(without being annoying), which I really appreciated. Can’t wait to make this place my regular coffee spot! 5÷14÷12 Update: The Nicaraguan coffee is smooth, sweet and delicious. The whitefish bagel, however, can sometimes lack in the whitefish department. Just a heads up.

Ventured out to NoLibs before our afternoon movie and stopped by café sweet spot along the Walk. This family owned place is super cozy and everyone is very friendly. I ordered the spring salad sans feta and the iced green tea. CB had the santé Fe chicken Panini. My salad was very fresh and the ingredients worked very well(apples walnuts, cranberries) there was a slight overflow of walnuts but still really good. The green tea was very refreshing and they offer simple syrup, and agave sweeteners in addition to the normal splenda and sugar options. CB enjoyed his sandwich w/o greens that was specially made. The customer service here is top notch whom I to presume to be the owner checked on us a few times while we were there and was very accommodating to a few food requests. So why 4 stars, the lunch menu is a little limited Id like to see a few more options. I didn’t get a chance to taste the coffees or deserts so ill have to come back and do an update. This place is also an BYOB so if your feeling like glass of wine w/your salad or sandwhich during your working lunch then have at it

So, full disclosure! I’ve worked for the folks who own The Sweet Spot for a little over a year now in one of their other business ventures. That being said, they have no idea I’m Unilocaling them up right now, nor did they ask me to do so. I’m Unilocaling them up, because I totally dig the Sweet Spot and want to see it succeed! So, I rolled in to the place at 2:30 on a Monday, and the place was pretty empty. Considering I came in to study, that was a huge plus. I ordered a small Iced Coffee and a bacon, egg, and cheese on everything bagel. I drink iced coffee every morning, and so my standards are pretty high. The coffee definitely lived up to my expectations. I’ve also had my fair share of egg, bacon, cheese bagels, and let me say this was also a winner. The bacon was perfectly crispy, the eggs nicely seasoned, and the cheese held it all together quite nicely. I scarfed it down in like 3 minutes. I’m also digging the ambience. There are tables outside on Liberties Walk if you want to enjoy the sunshine, and(if you’re like me and get tired of sweating all the time) the inside is nice and cool. I’ve gotta say that the small child inside of me digs the high tables. The adult that I am also digs the free wifi and the good number of spots at which to plug in my laptop. I’ve gotta say, even though there are about 6 coffee spots in NoLibs, this might be my new jam for a while.

I was relieved when Brown Betty left Liberties Walk, because, frankly, my waist line was in grave danger. But one day, walking by the shell that was once One Shot, I saw a sign on the door that said«Sweet Spot.» My waist line was once again on red alert. I summoned my courage, and a fearless friend and I wandered over last night. A small case showcased beautiful cupcakes as well as several other options: tiramisu, croissants, what looked like crème brûlée. Dolefully passing up the coffee(too close to bed time), we got a dulche de leche cupcake and the tiramisu. The tiramisu was very nice. Creamy, and a bit mild. The real star of the show was the cupcake. WOW! The icing was amazing. Tons of flavor and great quality. The vanilla cake with some dulche de leche. I absolutely loved the cake. That vanilla flavor was strong, setting it apart from many vanilla cakes. And what’s not to love about dulche de leche? I picked up a champagne cake with raspberry buttercream for the boyfriend, and he scarfed it down in less than 60 seconds. Needless to say, he enjoyed it. The people working there were super friendly, and gave us a sample of their yogurt, because they know how to peddle and addition… I mean, make a repeat customer. On first taste, I wasn’t so sure about it. I second taste, I was sure. Who knew plain frozen yogurt could be so amazing? Refreshing, tart, sweet. They also offer toppings for it, but I’m not sure it needs it! Outdoor seats, 10 o’clock weekend closing time, and BYOB make this a great spot to snag some dessert with friends. I can’t wait to come back and try the coffee.
