I was iffy about coming here, but my boyfriend’s band(Up All Night) did a showcase here. For a Monday night, all the seats at the bar were full. Apparently they just opened a few weeks ago. Negatives: the bathroom is outdated and kind of gross, the food took a really long time to come out, they forgot fries on both our sandwiches. The bartender did tell us that it’s never busy on a Monday so they were not prepared for this crowd. Which I can understand since it’s a newer business. Overall, the food was delicious for a bar in NE Philly. We got the breakfast burger(well done, fried egg, and crispy potato straws) and the NY Strip Sandwich(medium cooked strips of steak, caramelized onions, cheese, and fresh arugula). Both sandwiches were very good and flavorful, just a little small. They both were supposed to come with fresh cut fries but the cook forgot. But he did bring them out after. The bar recently fired their cook and got a new cook so it was a little unorganized, but the food was good and I would definitely eat here again. Monday night drink special was $ 2 domestic bottles. What a good deal! Everything was reasonable pricing and we were pretty impressed with the bar.
