They are not really happy when I came to buy sandwich. I won’t come back again. Around old city has so many of different stores and restaurants A LOT better than the subway, even for the food and service!

The wait staff was surly, didn’t know the difference between a sweet pepper and pickled pepper. They ran out of water cups so we couldn’t have water with our meal. They were rude when we asked for salt after the sandwich stating, «you didn’t ask for it». One worker spent her time texting on he cell phone while the other did minimal work. I wouldn’t eat at this subway ever again!

Rude employee. Vegetable is not fresh. The lady who prepared the sandwich acted like she didn’t like the work. The vege is definitely not fresh. By far the worst subway experience.

Thankfully last Friday all of the issues I bitched about in March were more or less corrected. The store was very clean and the staff was actually cleaning the entire time we were there. Partially that was accomplished because even though it was during what I would have assumed would have been a busy lunch rush, the place was deserted. Over the course of twenty minutes every table got wiped, the soda fountain nozzles all were taken off & cleaned and all trash was taken out. #impressive The food itself was typical Subway dreck where even when it’s right it’s still only right to a point as the bread was too soft almost like it was underdone and the apples in the cooler were mostly brown but whatever. For better or worse it’s cheap, it’s filling and the location is perfect for when we’re in town.

Good location. Small but easy to get in and out. Employees work hard to keep everyone moving. Great place if your in a rush for a quick lunch. Like it and will be back.

I have a love-hate relationship with Subway. There’s no question that there are plenty of places to get a better hoagie in Philly. Specifically I’m not a fan of their bread so I usually get my sandwich as a wrap. What I do like is their really fresh veggies and the ability to watch my meal as it’s made and get exactly what I want. This particular Subway is neat and clean and well run. They move folks through nice and fast. Although it’s a chain they do OK.

This Subway location is relatively new, and although technically located on Market Street, the entrance is actually on 4th, right next to the rear entrance of The Bourse. This location has ample seating(a bonus for any Old City lunch spot), and I’ve never been unable to get a seat, even during the lunch rush. The lines are managed efficiently, and I’ve never had to wait too long for my order. They definitely run a pretty tight ship here. The one and only complaint I have is that kids from the charter school across the street have taken to hanging out in there sometimes. The managers do their best to kick the kids out, but I’ve been in there more than once when their rowdiness was an issue.
