The ONLY place I will shop for shoes in the city — the staff is super friendly and helpful, and it’s nice to be around people who share my shoe obsession. Continually impressed with the way this store conducts business.

Great product and friendly employees! Every time i visit Philly I do a little shopping at steve madden(gotta take advantage of NO sales tax on shoes!!!). The girls that work here are so friendly and helpful. I didn’t feel pressured or like just another person to sell to. They were so personable and even gave us suggestions of where to eat in the city. Can’ wait til my next shopping trip there!

Lucky me I walked in when they were having an amazing end of season sale. Something like buy one pair(already discounted and then another 30% at checkout) AND get 2nd pair for 5 bucks. Sales ladies were awesome and never tired of getting different sizes because for some strange reason Steve Madden doesn’t do half sizes on some of his styles. Looking forward to the next big sale!!!

I can admit when I’m addicted. I know a few of the sales girls by first name and depending on the style, don’t need to try shoes on anymore. I generally come in for one or two things, and leave with more. The sales are just bonkers. If you want something they don’t have, it can be shipped free of charge. All of this ranting just means they have good quality, cute shoes for decent prices. They last, they look good, and you won’t cry at the register. [Cons: due to the location and frequency of sales, they can get quite crowded at times. Just come back in 20 minutes, or — if you already know what you want — get Hilary to help you. She’s *always* quick and knows her products.]
