Salon Pourquoi

I followed Sondra to Salon Pourquoi. No one, hands down, has a better eye for color. I’m one of those people who only gets a hair cut and highlights 3 times a year (but my rogue grays are beginning to come in more frequently now, so that might be changing). Sondra always picks the right combinations of highlights that fade nicely as my hair grows out. I have never been disappointed. Additionally, she is such a sweetheart. I feel like family when I come here. Ginny, the owner, is also friendly. I like that they take the time to make sure I am as comfortable as possible. My hair can take anywhere from 2 – 3 hours to highlight, cut, and blow-​out because I have a lot of volume and more textured hair. Additionally, the salon itself is adorable and clean. The price is not cheap, but totally worth it.

I followed Ginny to this Salon and the service and atmosphere are just fabulous; freshly appointed with client comfort in mind.
Richard cut my hair and did a great job and I plan to try Sondra too as I think her clients also look great when they leave!

This salon accommodated me as a walk-​in for male haircut, eyebrow wax and manicure. I was more than satisfied and the owners and staff were very warm. Total was $ 92 without tip so perhaps slightly high but not for non-​ethnic services. My only caveat is that I visited only once, though I will surely be back because the collection of services they offer is very convenient (for some reason hair/​wax/​nails rarely in same small salon).

Salon Pourquoi is an adorable neighborhood hair and nail salon. I went in last minute to fix a broken nail. I was taken care of immediately and had great service! I’m looking forward to coming back for a mani/​pedi! The space is very chic, clean and inviting. The owner is super sweet and runs a great business. Merci Salon Pourquoi!
