I had the farmhouse and it was good! Large, filling portion and the Brussel sprouts and candied walnuts really did the trick. I like their classy white plastic plate looking to go boxes. The turkey was obviously not cooked on hand, but for a cold salad I feel like that’s okay– it wasn’t gross or frozen if you know what I mean. The salad dressing amount was spot on and they didnt skimp on the extras and let me sub out cheese. The roll comes with(not extra $) is filling and surprisingly fresh(the bolero type are often too crispy and dry).

Excellent selections… being a vegetarian I really appreciate them having tofu and tuna. They have fresh ingredients, toppings and a lot of dressings. The employees were very friendly. However, this place is too expensive. I have been to many salad places like this but usually costs about $ 6 – 8. This salad was $ 10 with tax… way too expensive.

ICK I usually like Saladworks but today will be my last time ever going to the one in Liberty Place. There was hair in my salad um oh heck no! When I went back to the counter no one was there they must have went into the back room. Never ever again stay far away from here

I’m surprised the reviews are so bad overall. I had a cobb salad and all of the ingredients were fresh and they gave me TONS of everything… chicken, bacon, blue cheese, avocado and egg. I ordered the dressing on the side and it was a really good and filling portion! I’d definitely give it another try when I’m looking for something fresh!

1 Star. Unpleasant service. Freezing cold salad. Chicken on it was sort of like processed or canned chicken, not freshly baked chicken. I was in Philly for a work meeting and I wanted a healthy salad for lunch. I asked around and was told there was a salad place nearby. When I arrived, they were busy with a long line almost out of the door, but the line was moving so I decided to wait it out. The service was speedy. You asked for what you wanted and they slapped it in the container. Not much time to figure out the menu, I opted for the build your own salad. I asked for a few extra toppings and before they scooped it out I was told, almost in a reprimanding and unpleasant voice that it would cost extra, like three times. I asked for a 4th item and I said, «I know it will be extra, its ok! I will pay for it!» I asked for Italian vinaigrette on the side. As he began to pour it into a container I had doubts because of the appearance. So I asked for a sample. He dipped a plastic fork into the dressing, I tasted it and it was to my liking. As I was paying, I asked if I could throw the fork away and said please. The cashier sort of signaled that the trash can was far away. I said can I throw it away to the trash can can near you. And she bitched and barked, «Give it to me!» The salad was beyond crisply chilled, it was freezing! Literally the coldest salad I’ve ever had. The broccoli was raw, I prefer steamed, but whatevs. And the chicken seemed processed and did not have the same consistency as baked chicken.

I hate paying so much for a salad, so most times I opt for one of their pastas. Pasta at Saladworks?!? YES! It is actually pretty good too. They make it fresh right there in front of you. I like to order the chicken domani pasta with the blush sauce instead of the chicken stock. This is one of my places to go to for pasta during lunch bc it’s fast. You don’t have to wait in the salad lines for it either. Just go in the middle(between the two lines) and order. But, when I am in the mood for a salad, I tend to order Sophie’s Salad or the Turkey Club. I have never gotten the Sophie’s at this location, but I never had a problem with their Turkey Club salad. It has always come out fresh tasting and I don’t ever remember any time the salad was brown. Just go during off peak time bc the lunch line here gets ridiculous!!!

The tomatoes are over refrigerated and have that grainy watery texture. The turkey tastes old. Very disappointed. I think the other Saladworks in the city have fresher food.

i am so dissppointed with saladworks. Usually i just go in to get the paninis and my usual is chicken monterey which tastes delicious but today i decided to switch it up and get the turkey ranch. BIGMISTAKE! the turkey had no taste whatsoever and it was beyond gross tasting, in fact i wouldnt be suprised if it was some other meat. Therefore now i am changing my mind and dont know if i will go back to order that sandwich… but stay away from the turkey sandwich!

At least it’s a healthy«fast food» option… I received a $ 10 gift card for Saladworks from a charity auction, so I gave it a try. First off, I figured that a $ 10 gift card would pay for 2 meals, but that assumption was false. The prices here are sky high! I made my own salad because a lot of their specials have chicken in them which I don’t eat. They let you choose 5 toppings when you create your own, and they had some good options like apple slices, roasted red peppers, various cheeses, etc. They also had a decent selection of dressings. They let you choose a wheat or white roll with your meal, and the bread was decent(and filling-I find it hard to feel satisfied when my meal is a salad alone). Overall, it was an ok meal, but because it was just under $ 10 for a meatless salad, I probably won’t be back anytime soon.

Awful today!!! Lettuce was wilted, nasty and gross, avocados(which I paid extra for) were rotten. I spent nearly $ 10 on a custom-created salad and I had to throw half of it out. I was already back at my office or else I would have brought it back to the counter. This is the location in Liberty Place and I used to come here about 2 years ago all the time with my daughter who loved it here. I never«loved it» but now I shall not return for quite a long while. FOULBALL, Saladworks!

I was in The Gallery last weekend and I ordered a hoagie from the the place behind Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. They didn’t have hot peppers so I asked if they knew anywhere else that I could find them close by. The worker said«salad works will give you some right down the aisle». When I approached, her head was down and she was leaning on the counter, texting. I said excuse me but she wasn’t paying attention so I repeated myself then asked her if they had banana peppers, her reply«yeah but you gotta buy a salad». I said I just bought a hoagie at the end and they suggested I ask you. She said«well buy a salad or I can’t.» I was FURIOUS. May have walked away shouting an expletive.

I love this place! Salads fast and quick. My favorite is the Bentley with light ranch. I like it that they provide a roll with every salad. The staff is efficient. Yes, it’s a bit pricey…$ 8 to $ 9 for a salad. But, it’s quick, great tasting, and healthy.

My friend and I go to this Saladworks location as it is close to where we work. Normally, buying a salad(or any meal, really) from a food court really doesn’t warrant any real commentary, but after my friend pointed out to me that I «watch the employees like a hawk» I realized that something was truly amiss. She was right, of course. I do. And the reason is because I have absolutely no trust that the employees will get my salad right. Let me back up a bit. Saladworks is known for having a variety of different salads basically almost ready to go. Everything is made in front of you, but there are set ingredients for each salad and they’re displayed for you as you wait in line to order. So in a perfect Saladworks world, you decide which one you want(let’s say it’s the Bently) and in about five seconds they whip together the salad for you. Easy and quick. The biggest questions they have are whether you want your food to go, and if you want a white or wheat roll. Moves things along rapidly, right? Then there’s someone like me, who doesn’t want every ingredient. And doesn’t want dressing. It’s like I have caused major issues. It’s not like I am asking for them to substitute anything or take off money because I am not getting every ingredient. I could easily ask for something extra to make up for the lack of something else. But I try to make it as easy as possible. Instead, problems abound and I could see, time and time again, the employees slowly breaking down and losing their concentration. And then sometimes I’d have to say the dreaded words, «I didn’t want bleu cheese…» and I watch them trash the entire salad and have to start again. It’s just a lot of emotions that I don’t think anyone is prepared for at that juncture. So I watch them like a hawk, step by step, to make sure they’re not adding something I don’t want. Not exactly rapid. And it probably pisses off the folks behind me(sorry in advance.) I do keep going back because the finished product is usually really good. And there’s a lot of salad(«It’s almost TOO big!» — Elaine Benes). But for almost $ 10 a pop, it’s certainly warranted.

«I’d like a cobb salad with no bacon and only 1 scoop of dressing, please.» «Would you like a drink?» «No, thank you.» «$ 8.09» The bottom of the roll is hard and it’s tough to break apart, half the lettuce is browning and there’s maybe 3 pieces of meat throughout the whole salad. I was trying to venture away from my everyday Subway hoagie but Geez Louise I didn’t think that getting a boring old salad would break the bank.

I hope I’m reviewing the correct SaladWorks, but even if not I’m not sure the others change much in concept or execution. I’m writing this review for the one in Liberty Place — 2nd fl. This place sucks! It’s really expensive and nothing in the name of a salad. Just a few dried-up old leaves and some stale dressing. And paying $ 9 – 10 for that???

The Subway of salad. Garbage lettuce(often wilted), subpar toppings, generic dressings, often slow service, and high prices. And it all tastes manufactured, much like a Subway sub. This is probably due to the preservative laden food they have sitting in those tubs. I avoid these like the plague now.

It’s called Saladworks, but I have to NOT recommend the salads; it’s one of the things they do the worst. Opt instead for the Chicken Pot Pie soup or even their wraps(go for the Oriental).

I have a love/hate relationship with Saladworks. I used to eat here almost daily and found myself becoming annoyed every time I entered. But, like an addict I always came back. Okay, so I guess the real reason this place bothered me so much was one incompetent employee who somehow always ended up making my salad. Telling her my four item salad seemed like cancer curing to her. One time I asked for croutons and watched in awe as she dumped the remaining crumbs of the croûton bucket onto the top of my salad… literally, crumbs. The biggest croûton was no bigger than a grain of rice. After saying that I didn’t really want the crumbs she said, «Oh» and pulled out a full bucket of croutons. With that said, I love the salads because they are quick, and easy. And I will be back.
