I respectfully disagree — we found the oof to be fresh and tasty at the CAFE inside NMAJH. My 7 year old enjoyed a bagel with cream cheese (pretty hard to mess that up) and I had an egg salad sandwich.
Not mind blowing — but for a museum café it was fine.

After winding through a couple floors of exhibits at the National Museum of American Jewish History, we were in need of a pick-​me-​up. We went to the ground floor, crossed through the gift shop (that was strategically placed in a way that you had to cross through to reach the café of milk and honey), and accessed the café. The Kosher café variety was fairly limited. While the drink options were sufficient, the Banana Muffin I ordered was a little undercooked and not fully satisfactory.
