Don’t do it. Just don’t. This place is not an accurate representation of Papa John’s. The staff is TERRIBLY incapable of doing anything right and they’re rude. The pizza was bland, the toppings were sparse, and most importantly THEYDIDN’T EVENINCLUDEONEGARLICSAUCEWITHOURORDEROF2PIZZAS. That sauce is the only reason to order Papa John’s in the first place. Just go anywhere else, seriously.

Great pizza, but i was told it would be a 7 minute wait but ended up waiting almost 30 minutes while all of the workers goofed off.

Although I have been a customer in the past and believe me this is by no means a good pizza place or even a good«Papa John’s». I continued being a customer until this evening when I called and asked what specials they had. I was told that I needed to go «online» to find out what specials they had. I didn’t protest because I guess she was too busy to answer. She couldn’t waste time annunciating them to me because I’m not a customer calling a pizza place? Suddenly I realized I’d rather call somewhere that cared. Twenty some dollars won’t be leaving my pocket tonight. I’m sure she went back to texting her friend though…

It’s a Papa Johns and with that being said you know it’s not the gourmet pizza you’d get down he street. But sometimes we crave our old college favorite. You can get half price pizza if a Philly sports team wins and you order online. So we get a large pizza for $ 6. When I’m lazy a six dollar pizza tastes delicious. A very weird tid bit, your receipt will say Baltimore Maryland as the address. Let your significant other know this so they don’t think you’re running off to Baltimore for a hot date and some pizza.

They don’t even deserve the one star I’m forced to give them. Ordered food, gave my address, the girl on the phone told me 45 mins. to an hour. NOONEEVERSHOWED. Having cereal for dinner, thanks Papa John’s

We have ordered here for years and loved it and I am not sure what has happened lately but our last few experiences were terrible! The orders were always messed up. Not the correct toppings, charging us for extra sauces and not recieving them, forgeting our 2 liters, wings were soggy and ice cold. But I will never order from there again after biting down on a slice and almost breaking my tooth! There was something in it that resembled pieces of a bone or maybe it was hard plastic pieces but whatever it was, it obviously was not supposed to be there. I guess we will now be driving the few miles to the pizza hut…

The delivery staff members are embarrassingly inept.

I’ve ordered from here several times and the pizza is always ok but when I order I choose delivery. By far the worst wait time I have ever experienced. They do say it will usually take anywhere from 45 – 55 min for delivery. However its realistically an hour to about an hour and a half no matter what day of the week. I am understanding if they are busy but be honest with the wait time. I ordered tonight and waited 1 hr and 45 min and that’s ridiculous. It is sad that I had to reheat my food since it was barely warm. I’m officially boycotting them and will take my business to fiesta pizza or someone close by. So many other places with just as good if not better to select from and have super fast delivery.

What’s there to say about Papa Johns that you don’t already know? The pizza at the Roxborough location is the same as I have experieced elsewhere. The franchise itself has done a lot of promotions in recent years in which you can score a free pizza or at least a discount(i.e. when the Eagles win, and if the Phillies win and score more tha 6 runs) I’ve only ever order online from here and picked up. My experience have been great in doing such, always ready and friendly staff. Very walkabale area and great location for pick up.

Usually the pizza here is okay, nothing to write home about. But a cheap place to get a quick pie. That pizza photo is mine. What a joke– so little toppings. So many pizza joints why do I keep coming back? Phillies6 promo, 50% off pizza they just didn’t tell me it was also 50% off less toppings. This was their first offense in many trips so I will give them a few chances to redeem themselves.

The best place to go if you want the worst pizza and ignorant disrespectful staff in Roxborough! From messed up orders to consistant upset stomachs, I gave up on this place. Papa John’s usually has tasty sauce and OK crust, but this is a poor poor example of the franchise. Stay away

The pizza is good. It’s Papa Johns. However, the service at the Papa John’s Roxborough is terrible. Once I ordered delivery, the delivery guy arrived at my door while on his cell phone. When I paid him, he chose not to give me my full change, assuming I was going to tip him $ 5. Then today, I called to place my order and the guy who answered the phone couldn’t hear me because there was screaming in the background. I repeated my order, and he chose to chit chat with the people screaming around him, ignoring my special order request and laughing with his coworkers instead. When I asked him to repeat my order back to me(to ensure he got it right,) he asked, «Seriously?» It may just be a pizza shop, but it should still be professional.

I’ve been eating pizza from this spot for nigh on 3 years. Pretty much anywhere you go, you can count on Papa Johns Pizza to be… well, Papa Johns Pizza. However there are a few things that set this shop apart from the rest. The Diggs: The store is always clean and very warm. This is really nice in the winter as you walk inside from the bone chilling cold to what amounts to a warm cabin sort of feel. This does have it’s downside though, specifically during the summer months. During the summer months its much like walking from sun beaten desert into a face melting inferno. There is a nice little bench in which to park your keaster if find that you have arrived a little early. The Staff: Usually amiable though perhaps a bit stressed. Seems like every Papa Johns you go to the cashier is super busy taking calls, organizing orders, collecting money, and overall just trying to survive. The rest of the staff is a constant flow of new 16 – 18 year olds that would rather be playing their Xbox, than making your stupid pizza. That’s OK though, as they do a consistent job of making what they are told, must be the management. The delivery people are usually very friendly and very expedient, except for one incident that ended in my getting my food for free due to an incredible wait time. Over all I like the lot of them. The Food: Papa Johns Pizza is definitely decent pie. The crust is decent but really depends on the tap water in your area. The sauce is a little sweet with no chunks, not great but palatable all the same. The cheese is great, not too stringy when piping hot and not too congealed when cold. The toppings have always been their selling point. From their fresh green peppers, to their delicious pepperoni the toppings win it all. The only caveat is that you have to eat it within 24 hours, after that there is no going back.
