I have been a customer (only) of Joe Palmieri for over thirty years — and feel very guilty that it’s taken me so long to finally write a review. I can say, without hesitation, that he is a master tailor, a most skilled craftsman in his field. Maybe, the best kept secret in the Delaware Valley. He has custom tailored suits for high level politicians, sports figures, businessmen (and women), but mostly for the non-​rich or famous (though he personally is justly famous in NW Philly for his distinctive jeans). His hand tailored clothing (suits/​jackets/​slacks) are as good as any amount of money can buy, but substantially less than what you’d even pay for an off-​the-​rack garment of comparable quality at, say, Neiman-​Marcus or Nordstom’s. I can attest to this personally, having finally had him make a suit for me. Until now it’s been repairs and alterations — which always have been as good as they can be. But from now on, I’ll get my suits from Joe.
One more thing… Don’t be put off by Joe’s very cramped store and location. Remember, you don’t wear an address or fancy showroom. «It’s the clothes that make the man (or woman).»

I have known The Palmieri Family, since 1969. My first pair of trousers were made that year. Since that time, Joe has been my tailor .
His establishment is nothing, but FIRST CLASS .

Awesome! A good friend of mine referred me. We were looking to have a few suits altered for my boyfriend. I had a dress that needed to be altered.
He doesn’t talk much, that means he’s focused. I finally realized that he was the guy that made those dress slacks all the boys would wear when I was in high school.
Anyhoo, the suits came out great! My dress looked like there was never a rip in it. Price was right too! Definitely, highly recommended!
