Great food and all the food is spread out coming to your table unlike Chickie and Pete’s where the appetizer comes the same time as your sandwiches AA++++

This place in hidden but it has great food so its worth searching for. The wings are soo good and their unique fries are the best I’ve had in a while. I had a grilled chicken Cesar salad(which crispy chicken) it was the best salad I have ever had. My fiancée had this buffalo chicken sandwich and I had some and it was good. The prices are fair and the only thing me nor him liked was the chips that came with the sandwich and it was no option to swap it out for fries. Other than that everything was great including the service. We were too full to try desert so maybe next time.

This pub is located right behind Northeast Shopping Center in another smaller strip mall. Their address is on Roosevelt Blvd, but the strip mall where they are located is behind Burlington Coat Factory. It is a hole in the wall gem. The bartender, who is also our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. She recommended dishes for us to try which were all very good. The wing special of the day is coated in a strawberry infused sauce of which arrived to our table piping hot and delicious. It was finger licking good. The Harp Battered Fish and Chips were satisfying, delicious and not greasy at all. They made the tartar sauce in house that came with the meal of which was really tasty and complemented the fish very well. the chips that came with the meal was crispy, flavored with a little bit of «secret» spice and they just melt in your mouth(no greasy fingers here). The Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwich was juicy and cooked just right. To complete our meal, the Killkenny Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream is the icing on our meal. I regretted having to share this dessert, because that is how delicious it is. Our server refilled our drinks several times, and stopped by to check on us many times too. There is ample parking spaces available since they are located in a strip mall, the bathroom is handicap accessible. And one more thing… they offer FREEWIFI connection. I most definitely will return here again to try the rest of the menu.

RIPPEDOFFBYPADDYWHACKS. Booked a party here and nothing was set up when we arrived. For the very high price per head, we only had a very small amount of food/drinks. We would have been better off just walking in without reservations and ordering what each person wanted, so we could have paid for only what we wanted. They didn’t even have a designated space reserved for our group, as there were other people sitting in the area that was supposed to be for us. We had also requested a vegan option on the menu to accommodate everyone in our group, but all they put out was a pile of hummus with tortilla chips. $ 25 per head for the vegans to sit there with a few chips and a drink? Ridiculous. I decided not to take this up with the manager to keep the peace for the day, but Paddy Whack’s made a killing off of us, and I think that’s a shame. I would not support this business ever again.

I have gone to Paddy Whacks a lot during the day. The reason you should come on in because the food is really good for a pub. They just updated their menu and added some big hits from their blackboard specials. Like my two favorites Chicken Parm soup and Philly Cheesesteak soup. I also recommend that you try the blackboard specials because they are always good. They also have great specials and if you are friends with them on facebook they then to do cool things like giving a free happy hour is you share and like the status that if the Phillies wins you will get a free happy hour, Also if you like Irish music they have it every Saturday. they also have a nice selection of craft beers. also they are a good spot for parties they have a nice spacious banquet room in the basement. The prices are reasonable compared to our pubs that do parities in the area.

Came here to support a friend raising money for cancer research while he was«celebrity» bartending. A nice crowd this afternoon on a Saturday, an Irish guitar duo, and some decent drinks. I did not have any food. I did see that Paddy Whacks had Groupon offer recently so I’m guessing they are trying to drum up some new business. A nice hang out.

after going to this bar a number of times and giving it numerous shots at redemption i have finally put it on my black list. For one the bartenders are so busy on there phones that they barely have time to get you a fresh brew and after not getting any beer time and time again due to the lack of service i ordered a pitcher and was surprised to see that it was not the size of a regular pitcher anywhere else normal pitchers you get about 4 and a half beers out of this one you get 2 and a half but it is still the same price. The food is decent and the bar itself is really nice. but the service and the pitchers are terrible. Now i know there are more than one and my girlfriend swears that its only this one and the other ones are ok but for now i have given my last chance to these people

if you feel like drinking or eating around a bunch of rowdy teenagers. mmm. they serve anybody coming in off the street. Good excuse for Irish, the band stunk, the food is horrible and its loud with underage drinkers. Don’t waste your time.

I never had a bad time here. It gets very crowded but hey, it was a good time. Good menu, good drinks, good people. Definitely would say its more of a bar than a pub though. That’s just me.

Paddy Whacks has several locations, each an «intimate»(read: small) hole-in-the-wall. The staff is great, and this encourages the growth of a solid pub culture, with friendly patrons. This night, Kevin was my bartender, and he was waiting to take my beer order before I even got to the bar. I may not be crazy about their tap selection, but you come here for the Guinness, good people, and great service. The food was good, too. Paddy Whacks has a very nice selection of starters, salads, sandwiches, and pub grub. Sorry this is short, but here comes my next Guinness!

Great pub food and friendly servers. We went on a Saturday and there was live Irish music from Ballina. Funnel Cake Fries for dessert were awesome with Rasberry and Chocolate dipping sauces.

More of a bar than a pub. Hidden away from sight, but loud enough for residents of condos on the next street to complain. On the other hand, it is a good place to see a game, have moderately priced beer and grab something beyond a burger or a cheesesteak. My only real disappointment was that couple of things from the menu were not available.

Well I really can’t say too much about this place. Someone had recommended a different location to my girlfriend and I, but since this wad closer we decided to give it a shot. First of all the address is Roosevelt Boulevard, but this place is hidden behind the plaza that faces the boulevard. We eventually found it after we had decided to go to a new restaurant. Since we found it we stuck with the original plan. When we went inside there were about 5 people there, but they were all at the bar. There were mo patrons just there for food. They had an NBA game playing but neither team was local to Philly. That didn’t stop them from putting the audio on every loudspeaker in the place. Making things worse was the echo because the small place was so empty. Once the waitress made it over to our table we actually had to repeat our order for«2 waters» three times. Finally my girlfriend gave the final verdict«I just don’t want to be here anymore». It was disappointing because I am a sucker for pub food masquerading as authentic Irish food. Seriously, not trying to be a jerk. Probably will not go back here(at least this location). If I made the effort to go into Center City I would probably skip it for the real stuff — The Bards, Moriarty’s, etc
