I order a pepperoni cheesesteak Stromboli and a crab cake platter. The Strom was not cooked and the crab cakes were not crab cake. It was stuffing and minced imitation crab meet with raw french fries. Worst food ever. They do not even deserve ONESTAR.

I’ve only had the pizza there twice and as pizzas go its it’s fairly ok but the management is terrible the old man who answers the phone is a cranky owner that sends delivery people that can’t speak English. one thing that I need in delivery people is he a bility to communicate in my language, since they are delivering in my country. the one time I did call back to ask the man about why he didn’t have English speaking drivers he unleashed f bombs on me like they are going out of style. I will NEVER attempt to get another pizza or anything from this place and I suggest you stay clear to the man needs a dose of humility F -, „ .

Terrible pizza. Ordered a large pizza, with GrubHub to prevent mistakes but the toppings were still wrong. When we called the restaurant they said it would take over an hour to get another pie to us and they couldn’t give us a discount, or expedite due to their mistake. As for the pizza we got the dough was raw, the sauce was bland and the«cheese blend» they used reminded me of the worst of the worst of chain-pizza place cheese.

Unfortunately, it seems like I’ll never order from these guys again. Their turkey burger with mozzarella fries used to be my staple, but today I’ve been waiting nearly three hours for my order. They called me twice — once to say they couldn’t complete my order(they’re all out of chicken nuggets) and again to say the delivery guy knocked on my door ten times. I was sitting in my living room. Two feet from my door. The guy rudely suggested I call GrubHub to cancel my order. I said no, and told him to hurry it up. No such luck. That was an hour ago. I’m absolutely appalled by the customer service. Regarding the food, it’s always been of average taste and quality. I ate there because it was really cheap. That’s no longer good enough. Trading them in for someone else now. After probably 30+ orders, New Zem Zem just lost a customer. Congratulations. UPDATE: I had to have GrubHub call them. They weren’t super nice to her, either. Their explanation? It’s raining. Their solution? Send me an extra 2-liter soda. I’m not thrilled. It’s now past 6:30 on a 3:30 order. GrubHub is giving me Free Grub points to try to make it up to me, since New Zem Zem isn’t prioritizing customer service. Hopefully I’m done live-Yelping this terrible experience. I’m really freaking hungry.

What a pleasant experience dealing with this restaurant! A man by the name of Mustafa helped me cater an event for today and was so nice and helpful, I would use this place again just because of him. Even though he didn’t know me, he knew the venue I was catering to and gave me suggestions on what they usually order. When I explained the event I was having, he made suggestions and gave me a fantastic deal. I didn’t get to eat the food, but I was told by participants that the food was great! Everyone was very pleased. I highly recommend them based on the customer service I received and the reviews I was given about the food!

I used to love this place but as of late they have really gone down hill. We usually refer all our family and friends to here as they are halal and have every topping available(sausage, pepperoni, etc). Recently a friend ordered and had such horribly unpleasant customer service that I would be remise to not say anything. I’m giving the two stars because yes I do love their pizza as long as I specify how I want my crust but I will no longer be referring my associates to them.

If you’re in the market for terrible pizza, you’ve come to the right place. Ordered a large pizza through GrubHub. Toppings were wrong, cheese is poor quality, and the crust wasn’t fully cooked. Called the restaurant — said it would take a long time to get another pie to us and they couldn’t give us a discount. What a waste.

This hole in the wall was really dirty when I walked in. I got hit on 6 times in 29 minutes which is a personal record. Their personal pizza cost 10 bucks which is beyond ridiculous seeing a large is usually $ 11 at home. It took them forever to make my food and I just wanted to leave but I was starving. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. I couldn’t tell how dirty the back was from the stools but I just felt like I’d be inhaling some disease. It tasted okay. Too cheesy and not spicy enough. Ok so I ate here again as it’s literally two blocks from me and it was pretty good this time around. The guy working the register is super funny too. update update I recently went into this restaurant late night because they had a water ice poster on their door and i was craving ice. For one they didn’t have it so that’s some false advertisement and two i hugged my fiancé and he kissed me on the forehead and rubbed my achy pregnant back and twenty seconds later the cashier kicked us out saying«I don’t know what you think you’re doing, but this is a restaurant you can take that outside.» I looked up and said we came in here to buy something you don’t have as advertised. and walked out. I know pda isn’t as accepted in the Egyptian culture, but that was really infuriating. I’ve never been asked to leave a place and certainly not for showing affection. I won’t be back.

My boyfriend and I got takeout from here the other day, and we’ve also had delivery. Their cheesesteaks are good, and I love their mozzarella sticks. Their marinara sauce was tasty as well — not just plain tomato sauce like most other places. Their lamb gyro is HUGE. They’re pretty nice, and we didn’t wait long for takeout or delivery. Would definitely order from here again!

This is our go-to delivery restaurant, mostly because they have good variety and excellent prices. Best things to order: * «Honey Dipped» Fried chicken — their chicken bucket is fantastic and a great price too at just around $ 12 for 8 pieces plus garlic bread, coleslaw, and fries. * Greek salad — really delicious and generous, with plenty of feta and the best anchovies I’ve tasted from a delivery joint * Fried chicken sampler — not sure of its official name, it’s a bunch of chicken nuggets, chicken fingers, and a pair of wings along with fries all for just $ 6.50. Great deal, enough food for two moderately hungry people. My wife also loves their chicken fingers with honey mustard sauce. Their pizza and sandwiches are fine; there are better(but not cheaper!) to be found in the Germantown/Mt. Airy area. Their delivery is usually pretty good and the people are always friendly.

There isn’t much to say. A friend of mine ask me to review this place and I have to say the food is pretty good. Service is fast and prices are nice and low ;) 3 Stars for the Lamb

New Zem Zem pizza is a reasonably-priced tasty neighborhood pizza place. The owner is friendly, and the food comes hot and fresh. I highly recommend their Buffalo Chicken Stromboli or their Buffalo Wings. Their pizzas are relatively tasty, too, for Philly pizza(of which I am notoriously NOT a fan). The owner is Egyptian, so I am hoping that one day he’ll add Felafel to the menu!
