Little Nicky’s Grill & Pizza

Stopped in for lunch to try out a slice of plain pizza and the steak Stromboli. First of all the slice was slightly bigger then most places serve. The taste test — slightly better than most in the area, I enjoyed the cheese part of the pizza, the crust not so much. So-​so on the pizza. Now onto the Stromboli (steak, onion, green pepper) small size, big on flavor. After the Stromboli got cold — the flavor still rung out. I was in heaven, when I say flavorful I meant it. So if you want to try out a Stromboli better than most– try this one. I will definitely be back for another.

I’ve eaten here before and I really enjoyed my food, but I had to say that I had a steak Royal and a side order of jalapeño poppers and I throughly enjoyed them, so I’m giving them 5 stars.

We’ve gotten take out a few times. Not too greasy which is a plus. They don’t tell you how much adding a few toppings actually is going to cost. Turned out to be a pretty darn expensive pizza. But good none the less.

Had cash today and needed some food.
The girl taking the order definitely made the price up, there’s no price listed on my receipt for what each item cost and they didn’t send a new menu so that’s only what I can assume. Took 45min for a hoagie and garlic knots. The driver called and had a heavy accent and was confused in my apartment number –F7 my building has the apartments listed F 5 – 8 so he tried to tell me that my apartment isn’t listed so that was the confusion, really? That’s not hard to figure out that there are 4 apartments in this unit! The garlic knots were sloppily wrapped in tin foil and not covered all the way and cold and hard. The hoagie was ok. But they put romaine on it, so the ran out of iceberg and substituted without asking? I haven’t ordered from them in a very long time and wanted to see if they changed some. I see not.

Use to be our favorite go to take out place. We used to order 2/​3x aweek. I can agree with the other posts they do write & scribble your credit card numbers on the receipt. Fortunately I have not had my information stolen & the drivers no longer ask to see the card. Delivery is fast, food is o. k, shakes & cakes are cool. They messed up a few orders but have always fixed them except this last time. I generally get the same thing but this last time I decided to try something new like a salad. And they totally messed that up completely & it was hot. Why would you put a cold salad in a bag with hot food that was then put in a thermal delivery bag used to keep food hot by the delivery guy? The salad was trashed, Money wasted & that was the last time we’ll be ordering. So long Nicky’s!

Abso freaking lootly incredible. Best fat sandwiches that you can have other then the actual Rutgers grease trucks. I have been here multiple times after discovering it over two weeks ago and have brought my gf and my roommates here. They all loved it more then the last. I look forward to coming here whenever possible and have never once regretted it. They have a huge selection of fat sandwiches are very clean and the staff is awesome. If I could give this place freaking 6 stars I would I recommend every one coming here because I promise you won’t regret it. I’ll be back very soon if you were unaware of that fact before hand. Come here now! Go now! Seriously go! Before you go do not check their menu because they have changed it and you need a menu from inside so don’t assume you know what you are getting until you are there.

I used to go here all the time when I worked at the Toys R Us across the street. Delicious, affordable food, and a staff that can begin to feel like family. So many vegan options, and great overall. I’ve never been disappointed here.

I love, love this place! Found it on Happy Cow iPhone app and so happy I gave it a try. As a vegan, they make vegan steaks, including vegan chik’n steaks. Cheese isn’t vegan but their rolls are. Falafels are vegan and are to die for. Owner is very friendly and accommodating. Wish more pizza places offered vegan options, but I’m thankful for this little gem in Northeast Philly (corner of Castor Ave and Cottman Ave).

Nice little place. Their fries are awesome. Gyros are great as well. Their pizza is OK. They sell by the slice. Great prices too.

Small place with a big menu. A lot of choices, of both pizza place/​steak shop selection and some middle eastern items like gyros, spanakopita, and baklava. Very cool, friendly staff. Upbeat, fast-​paced atmosphere. There are a few nice, clean, basic tables with space to wait for food or eat in. The prices are very reasonable and there are some nice specials, including pizza by the slice with a can of soda for I think something like $ 2. It’s a great place to pull over, stop and buy a slice of pizza and keep driving and eating, rather than going through a fast-​food line. Just about as fast, or almost, if you just want a slice or two.
The baklava is delicious.
For some reason the spanakopita does not have a lot of cheese, so it will not sate any serious feta cravings.
There is a bathroom for customer use which is usually very clean, but it is accessed through a VERY narrow passageway, and occasionally known to be out of service.
They do efficient delivery in the area, too.

I have been ordering here for almost 10 years if not longer. I remember ordering always the same thing– fat mom with cookies n cream milkshake. And eventually they knew our house address by heart. It was and still is my favorite trusted place to get a cheesesteak. Every time I order a fat mom it’s always made the same. And I absolutely love it. I’m grateful that the place is still open because it brings back so many memories.

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD!!!
I ordered delivery with my credit card over the phone. When the driver arrived, he asked for my card and took a rubbing of the front of my credit card. They say it’s their policy now to keep customer’s credit card numbers on file. This is extremely shady for delivery drivers to be running around with customer credit card information. As a previous viewer on here noted, a delivery driver stole her credit card information and made a bunch of purchases. All it takes is one scummy driver or a disgruntled employee and your information is stolen.
In the end, we made them void the credit card order and paid cash for the meal. I don’t think I will be ordering here again.

Food is OK, but one of the drivers stole my credit card info and bought a ton of crap with it. I alerted police.

A little hole in the wall on Cottman ave., but it has quite the selection. If you have ever been to any of the grease trucks on Rutgers’ campus this place has similar selections to them offering 20 varieties of «fat sandwiches». Fat sandwiches have some type of meat (like burgers, cheesesteak, etc.), with things like fries, mozzarella sticks, etc. stuffed into it.
I picked the fat endris which has chicken steak, mozz. sticks, onion rings, chicken fingers, pizza sauce, and fries stuffed into it. For $ 6, it was darn good. Would come back here again to try some other of the fat sandwiches.

Awesome salads. They really know how to make a good Greek salad! LOTS of anchovies!!!

Pizza dough is made fresh hand tossed. Cooked perfect crust golden brown crispy. I begged for red lights on the way home just so I could grab a piece. THUMBS UP!!! you must try it

The shrimp scampi pizza and fat… sandwiches are awesome.

What!?! Noone Unilocaled about this place in the Northeast Philly area?
Man I used to order their special sandwiches all the time from here back in high school. They were awesome. So was the pizza!
In fact I’m craving a Fat B*tch right now.
