Stopped in today for breakfast. I stop here often, today they got my order wrong. I ordered a porkroll and cheese with no egg. Get to my car and egg! No biggie I just removed. Their sandwiches are always good, nice fresh rolls. I like how crispy and thin their porkroll is. Their eggs I’m not a fan of, they are the processed round ones similar to Wawa. Mistakes happen but I will be back.

Tiny neighborhood deli with delicious hoagies. Park next door at the Wawa. Lunchmeat is sliced to order and produce is crisp and fresh. You can get your hoagie on a regular amoroso roll, a hard Italian roll or a seeded roll. I prefer their sandwiches over Primo’s and Meatheads, and their prices are more reasonable. They also have some hot sandwiches, like homemade meatballs and hot roast beef and pork, a small selection of salads and Italian specialties like shooters, marinated mozzarella and long hots. It’s the only place I can find anise oil when I make pizzelles at Christmas!

Solid hoagie. This place has been around forever. Much better sandwich than you are getting at Wawa.

There’s no complaints here about this place. Is it the best hoagie ever? Probably not, but I very much enjoyed the Italian hoagie I got here. Their original large will generously feed two people, so for only six bucks it’s not a bad price for a sandwich of its size. One thing I really liked is that they cut their tomatoes super thin, meaning they don’t fall off the hoagie as easily. However, for being an ‘Italian market’ they don’t sell many other products. A few sides, candy and soda is about it. They have a shelf with pasta on it but honestly you could get that elsewhere. So really my only complaint is lack of other goods aside from deli fare. The price is good, so I can see coming here again.

Yeh, I agree, I used to love going in there for their .99 cent hoagies. But as time went on, they raised the price on the hoagies. I enjoyed going there because it was cool paying a buck for a hoagie but the fun shortly stopped, & that’s when I stopped going there. It’s not that I’m cheap or anything like that, but knowing going in there & filling up your belly for a buck was pretty cool just knowing that. The little hoagie they gave you was really good & I throughly enjoyed it. The place was pretty run down & old, but the people were nice. So, I bid farewell to you Linden Market, I wish you all the best. But if you ever decide to start up the buck hoagies again & advertise it it in the NorthEast Times, I will be back again.

This place has been here for years and years, but it’s changed hands several times. Back in the day when I was a kid, I loved going here. I used to go after softball, soccer, or basketball practice(which was across the street) and get their 99-cent hoagie for lunch. I really loved getting a pickle out of the pickle barrel, too. But then Wawa opened up next door, the owners were forced to sell it b/c Wawa stole a lot of their business, and the quality of their sandwiches went downhill. It’s a shame. This used to be an awesome place, but now it’s just so-so.
