Touch-screen orders like at your friendly neighborhood Wawa — but far better fare. $ 10 card minimum.

Decent sandwich shop in old city. Rolls are good, but the actual quantity of the meat, tuna or chicken is very small. The costs are about $ 6.00 for a hoagie or steak with about 1 and ½ ounces max. of actual meat. If you like a roll with lettuce and tomato for $ 6.00 plus this is your place.

one of the better lunch spots in Old City, very friendly staff and good selection.

The staff is friendly and I like the touch screen ordering. The grilled chicken caesar wrap is awesome, and I am stoked on the crumbled croutons they put in it(it’s the little things, people!)

This little market is on my walk home, so I stop here from time to time for random things or a sandwich if making dinner isn’t on my agenda for the evening. The store has very limited stock, but the stock that they do have is pretty good-even some out of the ordinary items that you can’t find other places. Their hoagies are fresh, and made quickly. The place is clean, and the staff is friendly.

These folks have been around for many years. I stop in for their ready-to-eat foods. Hoagies are fresh and excellent. Grill items are very good. Salads are also great. As others have said they keep the place clean and they are always super friendly. A great place to just blow in and grab a lunch to go.

I love Lake Blue. I work within a two second walk so not only is it convenient, the people are super friendly, they have a nice selection with some fun, uncommon finds(think Dark Chocolate Sunflower Cups!), and they carry Boar’s Head Luncheon Meats which are GLUTENFREE!

I just found this place a few months ago after walking past here for years. Their deli has a wide selection. I’m hooked on their grilled chicken wraps. They are better than all the others I’ve had in this neighborhood. Prices great and the staff is always really friendly. They even gave out Christmas gifts(cozy socks) to their regular customers. It’s nice to go into this great neighborhood find!

This is a great place for a cold drink on a hot day. The people at the register are very sweet and make sure to get to know you. I have been frequenting Lake Blue for 2 – 3 years now, and always get a smile and warm face. They have a great selection of sodas and snack items. Although I don’t order from the deli, I have often heard professional co-workers, with little need for discretion, rave about the cleanliness of the grill and taste of the food. I love their garden salads fresh from the ready-to-eat case, and you can find a decent yogurt or banana. I even bought a bunch of onions there so I didn’t have to stop at the market on the way home — thanks!

Lake Blue is a decent little market in Old City. They have all of the necessities you would need from a neighborhood market, plus a good selection of deli meats and sandwhiches. It is smaller than Olde City Market but a little better. I wouldn’t think twice about grabbing a quick lunch to go from here.

My cajun turkey hoagie was delicious. It was made with high-quality turkey and cheddar cheese. I had oil & vinegar, tomato, sweet peppers, and lettuce on it. The bread was a fresh, chewy baguette-type bread. Just fabulous. Later, however, I wasn’t feeling so well. I can’t say if it was the sandwich or the coffee drink I had after lunch. But it was so uncomfortable I might not take the chance on going back.
