Why not? It was a warm day last week and me and my friend decided to go get some froyo at lunch. I can’t not like sugar at lunch. It was really nice, and I never spend too much, because really how much froyo can a person eat. It’s clean, fast, friendly, and cheap. But I am not picky about my froyo. I can tell some reviewers are, but c’mon.

Stopped here the other day after lunch at Kabobeesh which is only a few blocks away. I was bummed out because they didn’t have Nutella and a couple of other toppings I usually get but nonetheless, the fro-yo was ok. As others have stated, the texture could be a little bit more creamier and a little less icier if that makes sense. Would I bump them up to 5 stars if they got more toppings and improved their quality? I don’t see why not.

Here’s what made me addicted to this place. Their froyo is good but nothing fantastic. You can pick a few variety of low fat froyo and sorbet flavors but nothing too fancy. The thing that make that little cup heavenly is the combination of a rich variety of TOPPINGS and frozen yogurt. Mix a full bowl of Mochi bits(a sweet chewy rice dessert), Reese bit, a ton of berries and crushed waffles with your favorite froyo and you will not regret it. You gotta fully mix them! The texture of every bite is just amazing. Crunchieness of the waffle, chewiness of the Mochi, juicy fruits, and the smoothness of the yogurt. One just can put down the spoon for such healthy and delicious dessert! It will beat any regular ice cream or gelato every single time.

I was greeted immediately upon entering. The place is clean, aircon is strong, and toppings are plentiful. Metered street parking is available.

Cheap, but not tasty. I judge a froyo place based the quality of its original tart froyo, and this one just watery. Other flavors were okay, but that’s just a function of adding flavoring and sugar, you still can’t really taste the yogurt. Toppings were okay — they had cut up cheesecake, which was interesting. Whirled Peace and Yogorino are much better.

I come to Kiwi often because it’s the closest froyo place on campus. When I need my ice cream fix, I know I can count on Kiwi. The place is always clean and never too crowded, and they have a large array of flavors at any given point(around 10 or so). They offer both fruity(i.e. pomegranate or lemon) and sweet(i.e. cookies and crème, peanut butter, birthday cake) flavors, and pair the machines so the swirl options compliment each other, such as chocolate and mint chip. I usually opt for the plain/original with a dollop of 1 other flavor just for kicks. The froyo is a little softer than I prefer, but no serious complaints. They also have a good assortment of toppings. I like to fill my cup with a generous amount of fruit, mochi(if you haven’t tried these before you absolutely should), and gummy bears, and end up spending anywhere from $ 4 – 6 dollars.

Every time I’m there it is clean and the staff is friendly. Toppings are always fresh and they have a good mix. Lots of fresh strawberries, blueberries and kiwis plus more decedent toppings as well. They change up the yogurt flavors quite often and I love the separators they have so I can make two different creations in one cup. Always a delicious and satisfying treat! Prices aren’t too bad. I usually end paying under $ 5 for about 9oz.

Kiwi has improved itself especially in its flavors. I noticed they had changed some of their previously repetitive flavors to some new ones, including mango milkshake, pineapple, coconut etc, which are all great.

The shop looks like the inside of Tinkerbelle’s imagination(all pink), so you might think that only teenage girls come here, but my(guy) friends and I kind of enjoy it as well. They have a nice, rotating selection of different yogurt flavors, and a good variety of fresh fruit toppings. In terms of the quality of the actual yogurt, it’s about average. It’s not bad, but it is slightly watered down and not as rich and«real» tasting as higher end places like Yogorino. Still though — a nice place to grab some froyo and hang out with friends on campus, especially since it’s open late(midnight).

Having tried a few other Philadelphia frozen yogurt establishments, such as Yogorino and Igloo, Kiwi’s frozen yogurt quality is considerably less authentic and healthy. Most of the fruit and cream based flavors that I’ve tried are on the very sugary side, while the original tart flavor is not as rich and not made with real Greek yogurt. For the price you are paying, there are better options. That said, the pink storefront and upbeat pop music they play here makes it a fun campus hangout spot for students looking for a quick study break or after dinner treat.

I have never been to a bad kiwi in my life. This one just so happens to be near my office so I frequent it the most. They are the first kiwi to always have birthday cake flavor yogurt(at least that I’ve found so far) and that is the best flavor. They have a wide array of toppings, but a little too many of those weird gummy things and fruit. Let’s be honest, if I’m there for yogurt I want some crappy delicious toppings! You can get a card that allows you to get a free $ 4 froyo after you buy 10 at any price. It’s really hard to get froyo that is less than $ 5 because there are so many awesome things you can add! It is sometimes really crowded with Penn/Drexel students but that’s my only complaint!

Boyd and I are big fans of Kiwi. The flavor selection is excellent, and the topping selection is diverse. The service is incredibly friendly(shout out to Jaylen, who was behind the counter today — he greeted everyone as they walked in, and he had a constant smile on his face). The only real problem I have is that the place is so small. Usually when we go, there’s absolutely no room to sit, and it gets very loud.

Clean and spacious . A nice arrangement of flavors to choose from but i always go for the more fruity flavors. The last time I went they had a raspberry pomegranate flavor, i was so excited and it was really good. Fruits always seems fresh but some seems like frozen fruits, such as the blueberry. Hope they only serve fresh ones in the future. Cashier is always nice, good service.

This frozen yogurt place is popular with the college kids in the area. Their flavors change regularly with the seasons. I am pleased by their flavor selection but I have had better. The toppings are fresh and changed regularly. The price is on the lower side for a build your own frozen yogurt place.

Pumpkin Pie Spice froyo swirled with Cinnamon Graham Cracker froyo… Oh. My. Goodness. So good! Lots of interesting and fun flavors to pick from in addition to the classics. With indoor and outdoor seating, this was a great place to stop for a quick treat. The toppings dispensers kept everything neat and clean, the prices were good, and the service was friendly. Love it!

I like this location because of the variety in yogurt flavors as well as toppings. I love how the toppings are stored in glass containers. This keeps toppings like nuts fresh. Kiwi Yogurt has both indoors and outdoors seats. The place is clean and colorful and has free water, which is nice.

It’s finally nice out so a few of my coworkers decided to stop by for some froyo. I wasn’t going to get anything but I saw they had a new flavor: Sweet coconut. I just had to try it. I asked for a sample and wasn’t expecting the girl to come from behind the counter and get the sample for me. But it’s definitely a good way to control the samples. I’m glad she even put gloves on! The sweet coconut is a great flavor. It was pretty light tasting and wasn’t overly sweet. Perfectly refreshing with some mochi on a warm day. They even posted the calories on a sign, which is great but would be even better with full nutritional value disclosure. Either way, I’d definitely stop by again for this flavor. Check in on Facebook and get 1 oz. free.

I’m very particular about my froyo. I only get euro tart/original tart with strawberries, mochi and peanut butter drizzled on top. The froyo isn’t pandering to children that rather eat ice cream. I hate when the froyo is too creamy. If I wanted creamy, I’d eat ice cream. This place meets my froyo requirements.
