Arguably the best at the Phila airport for pizza. The breakfast pizza… sausage & egg is without a doubt the best anywhere in the country. The most important thing to know is that Woody and Fufata, the managers, where absolutely the best in friendly service and provide a real attention to details and customer service. Unfortunately, they closed this place for reasons unknown. I am upset that I can’t enjoy my breakfast pizza any more and have to settle for sub par food at the airport. I guess i need to go to their NJ location to get a pizza fix.

Great NY style cheese slices whether it is 6am or late night. A good place to get some food at a reasonable price.

Best pizza in the Philly airport. Everything is fresh and pretty decently priced. You can get two slices for under 5 bucks.

I LOVE the breakfast pizza. This is the only way to start your morning if you take a red-eye. Also, all of their pizza is delicious. Its pretty greasy, but the crust is so perfect that you won’t care. DO yourself a favor and grab a slice for breakfast, for for a snack on the plane.

My favorite pizza place in the country! Whenever I’m in the Philly airport, I try to stop at King of Pizza for a slice. The pepperoni and sausage are different from and better than the pepperoni and sausage available in California(my home state). The bottom of the pizza is dark brown and crunchy. The sauce is well-seasoned and excellent. The slices are big. You’ll see a lot of the airline folks stop at King of Pizza for a slice.

I was surprised that airport pizza was surprisingly decent. Stuck in Philly airport for half a day(airplane issues stink), we decided to eat our way around the airport. Thanks Unilocal for good tips! Got the pepperoni sausage mushroom slice pizza. Very good! The crust was crispy on the bottom and edges, just the way I like it. Check this place out if you’re at the PHL!

First of all, the pizza was very reasonable for an airport. For $ 12 I fed my two kids and me. Plus the pizza was fresh, with some interesting varieties. We had Hawaiin, sicilian(my 4 year old was like, «What, square pizza! It looks like a Lego») and spinach with Ricotta. Crust was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Just right. The icing on the cake was that I left my wallet there and the UPSed it to me!

Not bad for a quick bite, on the pricey side. Then again it’s located in an Airport.

Bland and expensive, I ordered the meat slice only to find out that is a «special». Special means more expensive and not priced on the menu. $ 4.29 for a slice of mediocre pizza!

This King of Pizza is at Philadelphia International Airport and is a good break from typical airport food. The pizzas are all made fresh in the ovens at the restaurant. The slices are good sized and there’s always a wide variety to choose from. Sometimes the slices have been sitting out for awhile and aren’t quite as fresh as you might like, but they’re still good. The only problem for me is the price but that’s to be expected from an airport! I rated it as a higher-priced place because if you buy more than one slice and a drink you can easily go above $ 10. If you only want a slice and some water it’s under $ 10 but still expensive for pizza. With all that in mind, yes, you should eat here if you’re at D Concourse. It’s rare to find good-quality food like King of Pizza in an airport.

Had a couple hours between connections and after the hardly-satisfying cranapple drink off the Harrisburg-Philly flight, and expecting a long leg across country to Salt Lake, the delectable aromas of FRESH NY-style pizza wafting from KoP just called out to me. They put together a big calzone stuffed wtih ricott’ and mozzarella in a crisp flavorful crust, cut that in half and the rest is history– a great meal! Friendly employees and I went back to compliment the ‘calzone making guy’ who brightened up appreciably as I thanked him for the right amount of cheese-to-crust ratio baked just perfectly.

Such great crunchy pizza. YUM! Sad that I only got a quick bite but highly recommend this place if you are in the airport like I was and had no desire to eat the crappy(and expensive) airline food.

Pizza this good in an airport is pretty amazing! It beats the hell out of most of the other options. Great crust and plenty of topping options. They also have breakfast pizza. There ought to be a law against choosing the Burger King nearby for breakfast! The slices are good sized and two should be enough for most folks.

(Before King of Pizza) [Jeff]: Pizza for breakfast? Of course, you silly individual. Have you forgotten that I am a university student? Don’t microwave it you fool, that’ll kill the bacteria! I’m preparing my immune system for final exam time. (In front of King of Pizza) [Jeff]: Pizza with breakfast ingredients? Why does that look like… Is that Hawaiian pizza? [Man behind counter]: No, it’s ham and egg. The heavens parted, angels sang their reverberating chorus, and the girlfriend was annoyed that I had found another way to incorporate more pizza into my everyday dining. She’s getting a little tired of pizza. King of Pizza though? That’s a bit much. Maybe Duke? Marquess? I know, Viscount of Pizza!

Hungry at the airport? Never fear, the King of Pizza reigns, even at 630AM! Yes, I was at the airport for an extremely early flight. Most of the stores were still closed, but the King was out kneading his dough, and making his awesome breakfast pizzas. I tried the sausage, bacon and egg pizza, which is prepared, but they heat in the oven for you. Hot and crispy. I’ve never been disappointed by the toppings, or the crust. Both high quality. Much better than the other options, say BK, dunkin donuts, or this very bad philly cheesesteak hole.

Yes, really good NY style pizza. Thin crust, nice sauce lots of varieties to choose from. They have a really good breakfast pizza, but they often are not open early enough as my flights are often the 0600 flights. They are proud of their product(meaning their prices are a bit high), but it’s a tastier treat than Burger Thing, next door.

The famous King of Pizza and no reviews yet?! I’m shocked. Anyone in the know knows King of Pizza. It’s a classic staple at PHL. This is a pretty good pick for eating at the Philly airport. The pizza is consistently good. Fairly large thin crust slices. When you order they warm it up for you in the oven so it comes out hot and crisp. Prices are high but in the airport that’s standard. The one thing I don’t like is that they don’t have to go containers. They’ll give you a slice on a paper plate no matter where you’re eating it, but if it’s to go you’ll get a 2nd plate to place on top. Not the most conventional method when carrying your luggage, but I suppose they’ve got to reduce overhead somehow. The next time you’re in Terminal D or even a surrounding terminal and are craving a slice you definitely need to hit King of Pizza!
