John’s Food Stand

Been a regular of his for 3 ½ years and his spirit hasn’t changed a bit. One of the nicest people working in the area. Great breakfast food, also love the chicken salad and lamb gyro.

John’s Food Stand continues to be my favorite stop for breakfast on my daily commute to work. As a vegan, I would have given the food 3 – 4 stars but John tries his best to accommodate my dietary requirements.
Now, my incentive for writing this review is much more based on the quality of service than his «expansive» menu… John is a great person. I’ve noticed him feeding the less fortunate, offering them funds to complete minor tasks, and even giving food to regular customers who may be a big short. Even in the winter, his line seems unusually long. He’s always available (during work hours) to offer a friendly word of advice.
As for the menu, I know he doesn’t serve any pork and most people get beef (or turkey) bacon, egg & cheese on a long roll. He has a nice assortment of muffins that he can also slice, butter & grill for you, and sometimes even creates breakfast sandwiches out of. John also prides himself on his homemade turkey burgers! Personally, I just request my usual spinach, mushrooms, onions, and broccoli grilled on a long roll with lettuce & tomatoes added. John only charges me $ 3 for that large sandwich.
There is pretty good coffee & tea available, as well as a variety of juices/​water. Feel free to call in advance to place your order (but don’t be surprised if he mishears an item or too, it’s very busy out there). CASH ONLY
