Back in the ‘80s, I had my hair «permed,» ala the «Luke» look.
I told the person «I want long, loose curls.» She responded ‘Fine, I know what you mean.‘
During the procedure, I reminded her several times, «You’re giving me long, loose curls.» Each time, she assured me that she knew exactly what I meant. I KNEW she was doing it wrong because I had perms previously.
Well, she took the rollers out and there was nothing but FRIZZ !!
I asked her what part of frizz resembles LONG, LOOSE CURLS?
She got the manager who told me to just go home and wash it once and it would be «fine.» I called her a liar. I washed it a hundred times but the frizz stayed.
I SHOULD HAVE SUED !!!

I am a very new client at James Minerva’s. I’ve never heard of it or even noticed it before, however, my hair dresser Rose got laid off from her previous position. She immediately got hired at Jame’s Miverva’s and I went there the first day she started work.
Rose is a FANTASTIC hair dresser. I get my hair cut, colored, highlighted, and done for events by her. The salon is super cheap (I got a hair cut, color, wash, dry, and straightened for $ 70 bucks!!!).
The atmosphere of the shop is super friendly.
I highly recommend Rose for any hair service! SO many of her clients followed her to James Minerva’s. she’s worth it!
