This second floor hydroponic garden/yoga/dance studio is as cool as it sounds. When walking in from cold weather it’s momentarily humid, but once your body adjusts it becomes very comfortable and your lungs fill with fresh air that’s accented by the fresh herbs growing around you. The space is large and open. It’s tastefully decorated withy mid century modern furniture, reclaimed wood and of course, plants everywhere. There’s a central area with a mirrored wall to check your alignment. The quality sound system surrounds you and is accented by water flowing through the plants. They turn off the red grow lights during class, and let the second floor windows, and outer living walls provide natural light. Overall it’s an incredibly relaxing, and deeply impressive space. My hip hop cardio class was more relaxed than I expected. Just hip hop vinyasa, no cardio, so I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re more of a hard power yoga fan. However if you use yoga to relax and align this is your spot. The first class was free with a $ 5 donation to a local charity. Their prices seem very reasonable and substantially lower than the two other studios I’ve tried within 3 blocks of here.
