I’ve been coming here for a long time, and I haven’t gone anywhere else since. There is only one hair stylist, Michelle, and another woman that does the hair-​washing and helps out. Michelle, the hair stylist does a very good job. She’s up-​to-​date with the latest styles and works hard to make sure your hair look nice! She has cut, dyed, and curled my hair on many occasions, and it has always looks great! She’s friendly, and although Korean is her first language, she also speaks some English.
Hair news is very popular amongst locals that know her (typically the nearby korean population), therefore it is necessary to make an appointment.
There is street metered parking nearby. I feel that her prices are fair and competitive in comparison to some of the popular chains. You are getting good quality for the price and also supporting a mom and pop store! She also sells a small selection of hair products she uses for her customers.
Overall, great place and you should definitely give this place a try!

I am coming to this hair salon from 12 years. Totally luv this place and their services. Michelle is best in evening everything from magic perm to highlights hair, wavy hair got everything done from here. Every time loved my look.

I love this place. My family has been coming to this hair salon ever since I was young, and even to this day, I still come here whenever I can, even though I only visit the area once or twice a year or so.
I don’t know her name, but the owner is nice, and most importantly, she is competent. She listens to what you say and will cut your hair according to how you want it, instead of pretending to listen and then just cutting however she feels like it, as most Asian hair stylists tend to do (bad experiences with my bangs still traumatize me to this day). Two summers ago, I made the spontaneous decision to cut my long hair into a lob, aka long bob, and I entrusted her with the task. It was exactly what I wanted, and if I weren’t all the way across the country right now, I’m sure I would go back to her for the exact same cut. She’s always been a family favorite, and it makes me sad that she doesn’t get more recognition for her good work.

I have been coming to this hair salon since my first hair cut. I grew up coming here since I was a kid. Got my hair styled perm straight magic perm. Got my hair done for prom, weddings and any event Til this day. I am 21 now and I am still coming here. The best and most reliable when it comes to Asian hair. I love it and they also do great men’s hair cuts as well! Love it here!!!
