Greater Kensington String Band

My husband had my 30^th birthday here in March 2016. We absolutely loved the place! The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially Dennis who was quick to respond to our inquiry and subsequent phone calls. The space was just right with the mixed feel of a bar and banquet space. We brought our own food and paid extra for beer and wine to be included. To top it off their prices beat everyone else in the area. We would absolutely come back and will be recommending them to anyone who asks!

I didn’t book their hall, but I did come check it out. This place is so cute! I love the downstairs a lot more than the upstairs. They have an amazing looking bar that seats a pretty good amount. LED lights around the place, had a juke box, games, darts, etc. If I was throwing an all adult party, I definately would have booked this place, but bc it was my son’s first bday party, I decided to go elsewhere. The place is dimly lit and I wanted it brighter bc there will be a lot of kids attending.
The person showing us the space, Dennis, was so nice! Returned phone calls (even though we did play phone tag for a bit), texted me back right away, answered any questions I may have had, and gave a great price! If you are looking for a hall that allows you to bring your own food, this is your spot!
