Famous Footwear

I have gotten several nice pairs of casual shoes over many years there, one a New Balance walking sneaker, and a very nice black leather Dr. Scholl’s casual lace up very nice shoe. On Friday I bought a very nice new casual black leather upper lace up shoe that was on sale and that was recommended to me by a very nice helpful young sales woman, who had given me a lot of time on the phone. She was very nice and helpful at the store and so was a young sales guy. They even held several sizes for a few hours of a different shoe for me that day before I got there.

We’ve shopped at this famous footwear for years. With 4 small children, you can imagine how much footwear we go through. After shopping for more than an hour and trying on various shoes, we had 6 pairs of shoes at the counter. None of the ticketed and sale prices were showing up. The total amount came up to $ 200 more than what we understood the sales would bring our total to.
After we explained possible errors to the young man at the cashier, he rolled his eyes and shrugged his shoulders. He said «hey, what do you want me to do?»
How about you look into it?!
He didn’t even bother calling his Manager, he sent us to go fetch for her «somewhere in the back».
We found this lady being way to loud and unprofessional laughing in one of the aisles.
My husband walked her to all the areas we got our shoes from and she thought it was amusing how «someone» (probably her or her idiot cashier) must of placed ALL of the sale tags in the incorrect spot. She offered no apology, no assistance, nothing. It was our complete waste of time as we shopped with 4 kids. We left all the shoes on the counter with idiot cashier and rude, ignorant, big mouth manager. Never again will we shop in any of their stores. Any CEO who employs those idiots to «make their money «doesn’t deserve loyal customers.
**I regret not getting the managers name as she had no name tag. She was white, blonde hair (frizzy), 37yrs old or so, thin build.

it is what it is, a decent shoe store with a good selection of sneakers boots etc… little on the high side so look for sales
