I had a small vitrine made for a shelf. When I got it home i realized it was too short, the joints obscured the object. My mistake, so I went back and asked them to make another exactly the same but 2″ taller. I left the first one with them to use as a guide. I had a second one made, got it home and it was larger in one dimension, only about 1⁄8 inch but enough that it did not work, created a gap between the vitrine and the wall and the vitrine and the shelf. Went back and Tony said, «Oh, I didnt know it had to be so perfect » I replied, «well yes» He offered to cut the 1⁄8 off but I pointed out that then the counter sunk holes for screws would not line up. So he said they’d make it again. 2 ½ weeks go by. I call. Tony, «I apologize, I lost your number. Its been ready for weeks» I went in and picked it up. It’s obviously the same one they made that was too large. They trimmed it nicely but as I thought the holes do not line up well. Also it was scuffed. Poor customer service. Will not go back.

Tony D. is such a great person to work with. I picked up my purchase today and was not disappointed. I never imagined that I would need an acrylic fabricator, but I did and I’m glad I found Everything Plastic. It’s an hours drive from my home but it was worth the drive. If you ever need consider Everything Plastic. You don’t even need to come in, they have a website and you can order from there.

Just went there to ask a few questions about getting custom cut acrylic sheets for a DIY project. I wanted to know about pricing, and the woman I spoke to had an incredible attitude — patronizing and not helpful at all. My questions could easily have been answered by explaining the process in a friendly manner, but this was clearly beyond what she was willing to do. So my warning is: enter only if you happen to have the equivalent of a graduate degree in plastics, otherwise you will be subjected to this woman’s withering charm.

IKEA for once doesn’t have the exact table or shelf you’re looking for and you have a design in mind? If it can be made from plastic, Lexan or Lucite, These people can do it for you. They can drill, cut, glue and bend. Their showroom is spacious and will show you much and you can browse for as long as you wish. Don’t miss their table of lucite balls, rods, tiny boxes, little frames, Lexan screws and a lot of neat stuff especially for kids. Its the Edmunds Scientific of the plastics world.
