My local go-to Chinese place. The other Chinese places in the Torresdale/Morrell area suck. This place is pretty good. They don’t ever have any babycorn which is odd for a Chinese place. Other than that, we have tried other close places and have been disappointed by them every time. This place is pretty good about delivery timing, and is typically on-time or earlier than they said. The food is always hot when it gets here. Egg rolls are good. Chicken lo-mein is tasty, as is general tso chicken.

I ordered a shrimp with lobster sauce and order of fried chicken with pork fried rice. The lobster sauce was horrible, almost inedible. It was very cloggy, non-liquid form. The fried chicken were extra burnt. Going into the restaurant was like a maze. It wasn’t a very orthodox layout and it failed miserable. I will not be going here again especially when they are a direct competition right across the street. How does someone forget to give fork or spoon on a take out order?

I did not enjoy the chicken and broccoli. The chicken and the veggies were smothered in sauce and was too salty.

When you eat at a little family Chinese joint like this, with linoleum floors & flat paper menus & the generic back-lighted food photos of the specials, you rarely expect to be surprised. But I was, by Emperor’s Garden’s sweet-and-sour chicken, at least. The batter was surprisingly light & crunchy, not oily or greasy. The sauce was pretty standard(a little thin), but the fried rice is good & flavorful. The egg roll was just fine. Later, I did try the chicken & broccoli in an attempt to turn takeout Chinese into a balanced meal, and I thought it was bland. Bit that might just be the nature of the dish. Verdict: I go every week, so…

Not easy to find good chinese in the far né, but this place is pretty great. Their delivery is also super quick. Id recommend the lo mein or sweet and sour. Yum

It’s definitely better than China gate. Rice is better and also the quality is better in my opinion. Same price

Hands down THEBEST Chinese food in the Far NE(I’ve tried most places in a 10 Mike radius). They are a step above other places and the prices are great! I order from here at least once a week.

This place has been opened since I was a kid in grade school. I remember walking home and stopping here for a order of chicken wings. I think they have one of the best deep fried wings around. This place is great for a quick chinese fast food fix. The prices are cheap like all the local chinese take out restaurants around. They have a dining room but hardly anybody stays there to eat. I come hete when my parents aren’t cooking and I crave lo mein and chicken wings. The portions are big enough that I can eat left overs for lunch the next day.

Best Chinese food in the North East. I have never had a bad meal here. I have been eating at this place since 96.

This is old school Chinese food. Very basic Americanized Chinese food. Nothing challenging or adventurous here. Wonton is good and not salty, pepper steak is good with a flavorful sauce, fried rice is not greasy, albeit not all that flavorful. After trying them twice I just skip the eggrolls. If these are made in house whoever is making them forgot some ingredients and flavoring and if they are brought in — Please buy better ones. Despite all that I have said, this place reminds me of the food I had as a kid and as such occasionally I crave it and it is nice to find a place that can allow me to relive those tastes and that sense memory. However: my search for really good, more contemporary chinese food in the northeast continues.

I’ve gotten take-out from here before. It’s okay. Nothing spectacular, nothing terrible. Just average Chinese food.
