Great selection of beer and an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff.

My second home. Love the beers, people, and staff. All top-notch. The bartenders know what they’re talking about and will help you select the perfect beer if you’re overwhelmed by the selection.

Docs has a solid selection. Always has a great variety at a decent price. Only complaint is how narrow the craft aisles are, but when you’re packing so many choices in to one so, you have to cut corners somewhere.

Great bottle and draft selection. Relaxed environment to enjoy craft beer, staff is knowledgeable, and selection is robust. The draft list is constantly rotating, so there’s a lot of opportunity to try new beers. Prices are reasonable. Would consider myself a loyal customer.

Great beer, great staff, great prices. I especially love that you can get 8oz draft pours so you can try a few different beers each visit and not worry about driving home drunk.

This a wonderful place for a drink and to shop for takeout beer. Between the selection on tap that can be drank there or taken home in growlers, and decent variety of bottles, you’ll have plenty too choose from. I just love that I’m able to look over the bottles before purchasing and not having to trust a bartender. I’ve yet to really pester the bartenders for recommendations since I haven’t run out of beers I wanted to try yet. Because of the focus on being a takeout place with take out room the beer is priced incredibly cheap. Typically they have been more than half off compared to bars and restaurants in the area. The location is pretty small but I’ve yet to see it filled to its capacity. I personally enjoy just sitting out on the tables located outside. The bonus is that if its a calm summer night you get to watch local teenagers try and act cool hanging out at the local McDonalds, which is comedy gold. Our last visit we got a wonderful show of a group trying to do Jackass type stunts with an Acme shopping cart. Every time they would start trying to build up steam on the cart our group of jaded adults pulled out our cellphones to capture any possible magic. The only thing that could have made that night better or that beer sweeter would have been one of those dumb kids giving us some Youtube gold.

I’ve always liked you, Doc’s. You’ve been in the shopping center forever, and your selection includes a healthy mix of craft. Then you opened your beer take-away and mini bar next door. Oh yes. Make my own six packs with a candy store level of selection? Rock bottom prices that laugh in the face of other beer take-aways with similar selection, but whose pricing always has me begrudgingly thinking«this costs almost as much as a case» when I’d only bought a dozen beers? Friendly, knowledgeable service? Yes, please. I visit my parents in Andorra almost every weekend. You bet your ass that I’ll be visiting Doc’s, too.

Great bottle selection and I really like sitting down and having a pint at the small bar they have. Very cozy.

This his my go to spot for craft beers! After I found this place, I was done going to other local spots(The Foodery). Awesome selection of beers that are priced very very well. Definitely worth checking out.

I’m not sure why I haven’t reviewed this place sooner, I’ve been a faithful attendee nearly every weekend since it’s opening last year. Hundreds of bottles, 12 rotating taps, knowledgable and friendly staff, and I’m lucky enough to be within walking distance. It even has slightly better prices than the foodery a couple miles away. It’s a heaven for craft beer lovers. Stop in and enjoy!

I was in Philly(sort of) for a work trip. Happy to find a place with a great selection of beer so far form city-center. Prices were really descent and the guy working knew what he was talking about. Get some cigar city in their fools. They were also completely unaware of World of Beer corporate bars. Watch out for copyright infringement.

Here I am like every Friday night rushing around after work to get ready to drive into the city to meet my friends for a night of debauchery. Realizing I am already an hour late to meet my friends and still need to grab something to drink, I quickly type in «beer» onto Unilocal and up comes BPG. I recently moved back to the area and I’m delighted at all the awesome new spots that are around, especially this one. I popped into this place and it was buzzing with«beer nerds» and I mean that in the best possible way:) I grabbed an old six pack holder and began to ogle the beautiful cans and bottles from America and beyond in the refrigerators. Made it out in 5 minutes with 6 awesome beers for under $ 15, which I think is cheap for make your own. I’ll definitely be back and I love the idea of a «bottle bar» where you can pop one open before you leave and drink it there.

So I’ve wanted to try this place ever since I knew of it’s existence. After a long wait it was well worth it. Popped in there on a Tuesday night and was not disappointed. Selection was great. They had about 20 different pumpkin beers and all single beers were affordably priced starting at $ 2. I hate to say it because I like the place so much but this is a better deal than the Foodery. They had about 10 – 15 draft beers too which is what I started with. I’ll def be going back at some point and grabbing a customized 6 pack.

Dropped in to BPG just once so far but had a great time, sample a beer on tap before committing or pick one from the wall if you have a favorite and drink it there(or take home a six pack). Small food menu but you can order from any place in the shopping center and eat it there. Great staff behind the bar can help you find a new beer based on your tastes. Haven’t been by for Friday samplings but would have loved to if I weren’t moving soon!

I was running errands yesterday in the same strip mall in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia where BPG is located, so I decided to venture in and I’m glad I did.(Philly people: it’s in the Andorra shopping center across the the McD’s and next to the beer distributor.) I really didn’t know what to expect considering there are no reviews for this place. To start they have a really nice can and bottle selection. 80% is chilled in typical bottle ship coolers. The other 20% is mostly bombers prominently shelved behind the bar /counter. They also have 12 rotating taps with a great cross section of fine craft beer with most styles represented. I ended up walking out with a 32oz growler(yeah yet another growler in the collection) of Deviant Dale’s for a quite a reasonable price for both the growler and the fill. I found Steve Benko, the proprietor, to be both friendly and knowledgeable. He did offer a taste of the DD prior to filling the growler which was very nice, but unwarranted considering my affinity for this beer. All in all my visit was a wonderful experience. I will be back and will recommend BPG to my friends in the area. Kudos Steve!

The first time I went to BPG was when they had just recently opened and immediately was a fan when I saw that Matilda(Goose Island) was on tap. The bartenders are always so friendly and knowledgeable. Before committing to a glass, they will also let you sample any that you might want to try and/or are uncertain about. They recently started selling BPG growlers(32 oz) and added outdoor seating as this spot has become quite popular in the area now! The selection of craft beers available is astonishing. I like that I can purchase beer by the bottle or create my own 6-pack. Now if only they could add a larger selection of food to their menu… but then I’d live here!

Stumbled across this place by chance and I was excited. It’s a lot like the foodery in terms of beer but BPG has slightly better prices. They also have drafts and offer growler fills which they have a «buy some, get 1 free» program. I will surely be back to get a growler filled here. Maybe I’ll even try a dollar dog during the phillies game.

They have a great selection of beers and a large cooler with chilled cases. One of my favorite things about this beer distributor are the free samples of beers on tap! There is always at least one and sometimes up to three draught beers offered alongside the back wall. Prices are average for the area and there are usually some pretty good discounts going on. The service is friendly and they always as for ID. I am flattered because I have been over 21 for quite a few years now but it’s nice to see that the cashiers do their job properly.

Great addition to the Andorra shopping center! Right next to Doc’s World of Beer, they opened up a place to have a beer and you can drink and buy single beers, 6 packs and growlers!
