I have been to this salon twice. I first discovered them off of a Groupon I purchased. I don’t remember the name of my first hairdresser, but I got all over color — black — and a haircut. Overall the cut and color was great! My hair came out looking healthy and beautiful. The only downside was the hairdresser was still new, so she was missing out on the little things like: making sure your back doesn’t get wet when washing, keeping hair from out of your face, wiping up the dye that gets on your face, brushing off cut hair from face when done, magazine to read, water, etc. This irked me so I debated on coming back. The little things really do make the difference. I decided to come back because the hairdresser next to me gave a woman beautiful, really well done highlights. I decided to give Cosmetology Salon another try, and I am glad I did. Christy, the owner, did my hair this time. She went above and beyond to accommodate me. My schedule is really hectic and most things I do end up being last minute because I work 24⁄7. Not only did Christy fit me in with less than 24 hours notice, she stayed late to finish my appointment! I had all the little things that I mentioned above done for me and my hair was absolutely gorgeous when done. It’s really hard to do highlights in black hair because it often comes off looking chunky, dirty or very«Jersey Shore.» Christy made my highlights the perfect color with the right touch of blending. She spent extra time on my hair to get it done right the first time. Not to mention, there was plenty of conversation without me feeling awkward or like I was an inconvenience. I loved my experience there and will definitely be back!

This was by far the worst scheduling experience I have ever had with a salon. I purchased a GroupOn and when I called to schedule my appointment, their business number was disconnected. Then I emailed«Christy» who informed me there was not openings for the times I had scheduled online, using their own program. We exchanged emails about appointments until I eventually gave up– I felt very uncomfortable going to a business with a disconnected phone, conflicting schedule times and not to mention my GroupOn would expire before they would get me in. Thank goodness GroupOn refunds this kind of unused GroupOn because Cosmetology needs to get their professional act together before committing to scheduling clients. How does a business not have a working phone?!

I found this salon by way of a Groupon I purchased. The salon was very clean and cozy. The staff were friendly and professional. Cara who colored and styled my hair was GREAT she really listened to what I wanted, I got redish brown highlights THAT I LOVE. Christy the owner came by every now and then to ask how I was doing, She’s very nice and gave great tips on how I should style my hair. Very friendly professional staff. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Definitely will be back!
