Great place to watch a Chiefs game! Was expecting KC transplants but these are all born and raised south Philly residents who LOVE the Chiefs! Everyone is welcoming and friendly. The owner and his buddy introduced themselves within minutes of our arrival and even bought us find welcome beers. But much by way of good but atmosphere, friendliness, and neighborhood bar prices make this a must stop for Chiefs fans in football season!!!

Great place! Wasn’t sure what to expect. It is a neighborhood bar with a kansas city chief theme in south Philly. The bartender was amazing. He couldn’t have been nicer. Let us in the back room to see the memorabilia. Even let my husband hold the Emmy that the bar won. Patrons were super nice too. Great beer and company! Definetely will return.

Another amazing South Philly dive bar! I’m a Cleveland Browns fan and would love to have something like this in South Philly. The Chiefs memorabilia is very impressive… there’s an entire back room dedicated to everything Chiefs! Whether you’re a Chiefs fan or not, this a great place to grab a few beers in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Chiefs fan in Philly. Of course, we are going to Big Charlies. Everyone was soooooo friendly. Enjoyed our beers and the friendly barkeep.

Well being a Chiefs fan, how could I not give this a 5 star rating. It is everything you could want as a fan in a city full of passionate chanters and spellers for their mighty Eagles.
It is a great escape. The beer was cold, the sausage sandwich was delicious and all affordable.

Yes, it is a dive bar
But to be in town from Florida and find a bar full of people whom you have never met and share an afternoon of high fives and cheering for your team is GREAT. We came in our jersies and were welcomed with open arms. bar service was good we didn’t eat here as we had just left brunch and were not hungry the whole place smelled. like BBQ which made it just like home in KC. This is a cash only establishment but no worries prices are suited for work in folks. Next time in Philly during football time this is what’s up
