Wot, no review? [Edit: Ha, I’ve been sitting on this review for so long, someone’s finally written one.] What kind of a cycling town is this? Better than some, not as good as others apparently. This review has been inspired by the temporary Bicycle Parking Corral installed at the corner of Sydenham and Walnut Sts. At first I was gladdened to be met by the sight that is this functional sculpture(Yay!), then saddened after I read the sign which informed me that its installation would be only temporary(Boo!). [Edit: The reason why I haven’t posted this until now is because I didn’t want to jinx the removal of this fine bike rack. If you’re reading this review either the lovely bike rack is gone or it seems like it’s staying and I’ve chosen to just go ahead and post. Yeah, it seems like the bike rack is here to stay? So, I’ll go ahead and just post this now.] It’s got a built in pump. Bonus. I was going to create a new listing just to review the Bicycle Parking Corral, but after checking this BCoGP listing and see how no reviews had been written, I decided it would be more legitimately appropriate to simply roll two(two, two) reviews into one. Beat to the punch, late to the party, as usual. Props to Dan A. for being man enough to write such a fine review of the BCoGP. Kudos. BOMF!!!

Diana from the Bicycle Coalition has presented at my office several times over the years for our Earth Day activities. She has always given an excellent talk promoting bicycling as a healthy, low-cost, and environmentally-friendly form of transportation and recreation. And each year, she updates us on topics such as new bike lanes, laws, and safety advice. The Bicycle Coalition is doing a great job making Philadelphia safer and friendlier for bicyclist. And their work also helps increase harmony between bicyclist, pedestrians and motorist.
