Aya’s Pizza

Would never order from here again. Got hung up on before trying to give my card information. The food was cold, asked for salt, pepper & ketchup on fries and chicken there was a little squirt on the fries barely any salt and pepper on anything. I was given chicken wings which were so dried out seemed like I got what was left in the fry basket at the end of the night. Tried to season them and dip them in dressing, wasn’t even worth it. Poor dog didn’t even want them, ended up trashing it. The cheesesteak is the only thing I would recommend.

First time ordering and the last for sure, as by far the worst customer experience I have ever had. It was a delivery order, and the employee taking my order was very rude, should not be in customer service at all. I was very disappointed just with the call alone I was going to cancel my order but didn’t. The Philly cheese steaks were good, but for some reason we ordered fries and they put ketchup all over them, which made the gross. My wife had shrimp dinner with fries and side salad, shrimp was good, fries cold, and for some reason they put the side salad with the hot food, and her salad was warm and wilted. The burger was decent. There prices are more than the menu also by a bit, which this should be fixed as its what I would call falls advertising. Overall disappointed with customer service and some of the food. I thought 2 stars is a bit generous, but maybe they will take these comments and improve their food packaging, and retrain their staff on customer service as I like non-​chain places, this is just not one of them I will order from ever again. Oh yeah and update your menu prices. FYI, delivery driver was nice guy.

Oh Aya’s. I really wanted to love you after my first experience but I believe the cheese has melted and I’m moving onto a better pizza.
Our first experience was a delivery order. We ordered a special that had a large pizza, a cheesesteak, 10 wings, fries and a 2 liter Pepsi for $ 22.99. Ordering was speedy as was the delivery time! We were quoted a time of 30 – 40 minutes. The polite delivery guy arrived in 27 minutes. The food was great. Nice and hot.
Second experience was awful. I mean awful. This was a pickup order. We called and ordered another special mentioned on the menu. For $ 18, you got two cheesesteaks, fries, and a soda. We were cool with that until the person on the end of the line said it was $ 27.ummm what? So we said we’d call back. We looked at the menu and realized that she didn’t give us menu prices. She charged us regular prices for each individual item. Which made no sense. Why would less food cost the same price than a special with more food?
So we trek around the corner to the pizza place. It’s a cluster of people ordering, five cashiers who clearly don’t know the menu, folks yelling while making pizzas. Just nonsense.
We talk to the cashier and found out that she was new to the register and didn’t know how to input the specials at the end of the transaction. Okay cool. Back to the menu we go. We order the special again and she says it’s $ 31.now I’m confused. How did this $ 18 go to $ 31!!!
Turns out, their damn menu was from LAST SUMMER and they didn’t update it. And of course, they have the sentence on the menu that says «prices Subject to change without notice»… Trust me I get that, but you need to update your menu when food suddenly jumps from #18-​$ 31.period.
That menu is false advertisement and the average person in a rush wouldn’t realize it… But we did and won’t be returning and it’s such a shame because the food is actually decent.

I really can’t believe that this place is even still in business. Don’t even bother ordering off of grubhub, they completely ignore the order. When you do call to ask where your order is «Dina» the manager will yell and you and slam the phone down. It’s a real shame that the people who are giving you their money are the same ones that you want to argue with! When the pizza was finally ready, after almost 2 hours, it was beyond inedible. I really hope the food inspectors get on these people about running a filthy business.

This was the by far the worst delivery experience! The one time I trusted Google Reviews vs Unilocal and I’m totally upset with myself. TWO DAMN HOURS for lukewarm and below average food and let’s just say they won’t be getting an endorsement from me or hopefully anyone else who reads this.
We placed an order at 8:45 and received the food to our hotel at 1050. No apology from the delivery man. He just came through like this was a normal thing. Smh
Oh, and while waiting, we were constantly calling to speak with the manager (Dina) who was ALWAYS busy. We’re actually still waiting on her call. Katie, If that’s her real name, was the young lady who took our complaints and told us that ribs with little to no meat, is a norm at Aya’s– IF this was not ok with Fred Flintstone, then it damn sure ain’t gonna fly with me!
My side salads are no where to be found and I am hoping that if Dina or anyone else from Aya’s management is reading this, that they’ll respond to our concerns and refund our money. We’re visiting from out of town and I hope this place doesn’t represent the city of brotherly love, if so… cut all of my ties from this family tree

Love the stromboli and mozzarella fries. My children enjoy the wings and banana pudding.

Vegetarian hoagie was not impressive but was a bit soggy with an ungenerous amount if wilted lettuce and tomatoes. The person taking my order did not listen to me and wrote down the wrong address and rudely hung up on me. Because of the incorrect address it took the delivery person though nice took awhile to get my food delivered since they went to the wrong location.

Delivery was fast! Food was amazing. Had the buffalo wing platter, with fries and blue cheese!!! Ate all 15 of them in like 10 minutes! Delicious! Food was delivered in 30 minutes. Customer service was great. They got my order right. Definitely gonna be my go-​to place for food when I’m in town! Great prices

Convenient. The antipasto salad is my fav. Sometimes there «grub hub» access is sometimes crazy but they are good

Don’t bother ordering through Unilocal.The restaurant won’t answer them, and after waiting half an hour you will be informed that your ‘confirmed’ order has just been cancelled. Lame.

Pretty surprised by the reviews because I’m a regular ayas customer and actually just started ordering from them this year and the foods awesome! Pizzas great, cheesesteaks are AWESOME, Wings are my favorite in the area and the wraps are just the best! Girls are always real nice when I call or go in as well so that’s a plus.

My fiancé and I have been ordering from Aya’s for the last year. We like their pizza a lot (it is greasy like people say, but we don’t care because it tastes great… and I mean, come on, you ordered pizza– why is everyone expecting it to be really healthy???) Anyway, our biggest complaint with Aya’s has always been that it takes them FOREVER to deliver. We live maybe 1.5 miles away from the shop, but don’t have a car, so we order delivery. It always takes 1 hour minimum. There have been I think 3 occasions where it took approximately 2+ hours for our delivery to arrive. It would have been nice if someone from the store had called to let us know it would take longer. Instead we would call them and ask about it and they would act annoyed that we were wondering if the food was still coming. But, we have continued ordering since we like the pizza.
Tonight we ordered 2 pizzas, 20 wings and a bottle of Coke. It took the usual amount of time to be delivered, which is a little bit over an hour. I was wondering why the sides of the 2 pizza boxes were soaked through with grease. Then when I opened the pizza boxes, I saw that literally ALL of the cheese and mushrooms from one pizza had come off the pizza and was on the side of the box. So it was just bread with cheese on the side. Then I opened the other pizza and the cheese and pepperoni were still on top, but the pizza had squished against the side of the box and ½ of the pizza was basically gone.
So, I called GrubHub since that is who we ordered through and they called Aya’s to try to get us new food or a refund. Aya’s refused and said they would have to have the driver come back, pick up all of the food and the food had to be untouched, and they were also very specific that they needed to bottle of Coke back as well. Then after that I would be allowed to place another order for the same food. Since it was already after 12AM by the time we got our food, we weren’t really interested in waiting an hour for the delivery guy to come back, pick up our food, and then we would re-​order and wait at least another hour for more food. Plus, the store would be closed by then and we would still be left just as hungry as when we put our order in at 10:45PM.
The customer service rep from GrubHub was really nice and I could tell she felt bad about it all. She ended up refunding me since Aya’s wouldn’t, which was really nice!!! I’ll post the pics of the pizzas in the photos section as well in case anyone is curious.
GrubHub basically saved some of our future business for Aya’s. We may consider ordering there again since we were refunded for the poor service. But, I think we will be ordering from Pizza Hut more often now since they are 1 mile down the road. only take 20 mins to deliver, and we haven’t really ever been disappointed in their food or service like we have with Aya’s.

This place has terrible service.
The delivery service is the worst I’ve ever experienced, by far. They are beyond rude. One delivery person came to the door of the business I work at with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, after being a half hour late.
The past two times I’ve ordered, a man came to the door in front of a customer and yelled «you order food?»
I would not recommend going here to anyone. Their food is just ok, and could be better.
They also forget special orders like anything on the side. I wouldn’t order so much if I didn’t work overnights.
