I was really excited to try this place out based on the reviews I saw on Unilocal.Unfortunately, it was the worst hair experience I’ve ever had. I said I wanted my color to be a little darker and highlights in warm tones. Pretty NOT trendy. I ended up with bright red cherry bomb balayage that was the color of Haribo Happy Cherries.
Basically, the stylist did not listen to me at all and spent the entire time instructing his assistant on how to color hair. If I was her I would run.
When I called the salon the next day to complain they offered to have me come in for a complete redo with a different «master» stylist. No thanks. I opted to go to another salon and I’m so happy that I did as I ended up with what I originally wanted and someone actually listened to me.

THANK GOD FOR THIS PLACE! Being a curly haired wonder, I have had my fair share of hairdressers. All they want is to cut my hair, give me BANGS, then straighten it at the end of the appointment. I had the fabulous Eric. It was back in June and he helped me get a cut and style for my cousin’s wedding. Seriously the best haircut I have ever gotten. Wonder why? He was the first person to ever cut my hair dry. He was honestly shocked that no one had ever done so, but I mean I was blown away. I will be going back to this place AND ONLY THIS PLACE for my hair from now on. He made me go from Diana to Shakira and I love every second of it.

For all the curly haired girls out there… I absolutely 100% recommend this salon and Eric!!!
I had my first DevaCurl haircut with Eric yesterday and I couldn’t be happier. Eric is VERY knowledgeable about DevaCurl products and is so patient when he explains everything. He taught me so much about what to use and how to apply the products. My hair thanks him. I no longer suffer from frizzy, dry, triangle hair. For the first time ever, I can honestly say that I LOVE my curls! Eric, you rock!

I come to this review with a ton of bias. I’ve been a client of Andre’s salon for over five years, and I can’t imagine how a person could NOT adore Andre. He is passionate about all things hair, whether it’s a new technique or a new product, and he has talent to match. See my review of the main salon: I grew up with «stylists» who were so bad I thought the only cut that could look good on me was a long, blunt cut. Thanks to Andre and some consultants with Phyto and DevaCurl, my hair is the best looking and HEALTHIEST it has ever been.
While the main salon is a fun place, the Lab is a cozy, intimate environment with simple décor, and a quiet spa-​like atmosphere. I don’t necessarily have a preference for either. Truth is, if Andre set up shop in the middle of a mall full of crying toddlers during Santa season, I would head right on down ready with unwashed head and my LevelUp app.
That said, the Lab is pretty sweet, and it also includes a giant case full of MAC makeup that I’m planning to heist one of these days. Just kidding; I don’t have the room for it.

ArS Lab is the place to go for a great haircut from a top professional working at the apex of his craft. Andre Baldini has a consultative approach and knows exactly what haircut I need. The experience at ArS LaB is both fun and relaxing.

How do I love Andre? Let me count the ways. First, he gave me Andre Richard Salon, then he gave me ahhhmazing cuts and coloring on a consistent basis, and NOW, he has given me ARS LAB!
I was so excited to visit the new space this weekend for some hair lovin’ and as always, Andre did not disappoint. The new space is just a short walk from the main salon, and it is so cozy and gives you the true VIP experience. I love being in a busy salon, reading mags and eavesdropping on hilariously honest conversations of the women around me as much as the next girl, but THIS experience was so much cooler.
As usual, I told Andre to do whatever he thought would make me look the most fierce in terms of my cut and color – you can trust him that much. I felt so special and it was fun to hang with Andre surrounded by lots of light, fun products to check out, and great music. Andre has done it again, not just by giving me the amazing cut and color that I am used to from him, but with the creativity and innovative new experience of ARS LAB.
Oh, and the online scheduling has made it A LOT easier to get an appointment with him. Get on it ladies and gents! Just leave me a little time with him too.

For the past four years, Andre has been the only one who I could completely entrust with cutting my hair. His passion and expertise allows him to know exactly what you want and he executes it like no one I have ever been to. Cut — Color — Style! The best I’ve ever had. My experience at ARS LAB began with a thorough consultation by Andre Baldini, which led to hair color that was as close as humanly possible to my daughter’s natural light brown locks — highlights, low lights, it was a gorgeous. Love, love, love ARS LAB! I already loved Andre, and this was a whole other level of service. It was such a cool experience to be one on one with him. I can’t even explain how much I love my color. I want dark brown hair — as dark as you can go without being completely black, and I could never find anyone daring enough to get it where I wanted, but I swear when he was done it was absolutely perfect.
I can’t recommend him enough and the new ARS Lab was too cool. It was a great space, off the beaten path and really felt special to be there!
