Probably one of the best 7 – 11’s I’ve been to. Even on the late tip they have a bunch of microwavable sandwiches, wraps, etc. Their black bean burrito was awesome as was the bite I had from my friend’s chili cheeseburger when we got back to his apartment.

7 – 11, I love you so much. This is only a few blocks away from me so I’m there pretty much always. Sure, it’s not the cleanest place and yeah… the employees usually don’t speak English and you have to point to what you want but dammit… kudos to them for putting up with the massive amounts of drunk people stumbling in there and buying old, greasy hot dogs, slurpees and smartfood.(Which included me the other day, actually…) Really though… it’s open all the time and the guys who work there at night totally won’t judge you at all if you’re a mess but please don’t get rowdy… imagine how much stuff they must put up with. I’m still afraid to try most of the food they offer but the coffee is alright!

OK here I go… Miss Mary rocks it out! The other staff during the day are very pleasant, except for the large miserable man, if not slightly challenged in the use of the English language. Especially the night guys! They have deals on cigarettes. They have convenient stuff. They sell sodas. They sell really really disgusting pizza and rolled up processed food. That’s all.

On the late night tip There aren’t too many options This is one of them We’ve all been there. You’re headed home and the there are two thought occupying your mind: don’t fall down, and damn I need a snack. I don’t think I’ve ever been here while the sun was still shining; actually I think I’ve only ever been here a handful of times before midnight. Usually this is the last stop before home, and how thankful I am that it’s open, and that they’re used to the ridiculous behavior of those who happen to still be out at 2:30AM. Here is a sampling of the poor/awesome decisions I have made here in the past: –Multiple big bites with who knows how old onions –A slurry of slurpee in a single cup –Pork cracklins in a handy bag –Cracker Barrell cheese blocks and apples –Frozen pizza, pot pies, bagel bites, etc. –Fritos, Doritos, and other salted snacks The only request I would have is that if you are going to go in here late night, try your best not to make yourself out to be a drunken moron. Don’t ruin it for the rest of us who are way ahead of you.

Well, it’s the closest 7-eleven so I’ll give them points for multiple locations in the city and not disappearing like all of the Wawa’s in the neighborhood seem to have in the last couple of years. However, this location is just plain bad. I cannot tell you the number of times we have bought dairy and it’s sour. The cooler is never cold enough, or maybe it shuts off at night, I don’t know but regardless don’t buy anything that could spoil. Aside from that, the assortment of products is limited but you can find most things or a substitute for them. The second star is for being open 24 hours a day. It’s nice to know I can grab a late night snack nearby at any time.
