LOVETHISPLACE. Have not been disappointed and every time I go there, there’s always a line of people. The owner and employee’s are very friendly and never have they got my orders wrong. I made large orders for my Navy family and friends and we’re always pleased with amount of food we get at an affordable price. I’ve called in my orders and it’s always hot n ready upon pick up with plenty of sauce and napkins to go,. Don’t let the shoe box fool you it really is fantastic food with a friendly staff.

Not impressed sort of like Taco Bell. Super burritos have lettuce which is weird with guacamole half way down the burrito. No flavor and hot sauce is not hot. We stopped because heading out of town …

Absolutely love this place! I have been a customer since they were mobile and had the food truck. Their food is fantastic and the service is just as great! Their prices are very reasonable, but do remember that this isn’t a «nice sit in» restaurant, they do have some tables but they are outside so not great during the cold winter months, your best bet is to order your food to go.

I went there and ordered 3 Super Burritos and asked the cashier to please make sure they strained the grease out of the meat(carne asada) before putting it in the burrito, because last time the Burritos were too greasy; chicharoni, shredded chicken, and Carne Asada. Upon bringing the burritos home, Mind you, I went back because living in Fernley, NV we only have 3 places that I know of for Mexican food. My father said his chicken burrito tasted like garbage, and was really greasy, and when I opened mine up grease was dripping out the bottom of my burrito. I tried biting into it and it broke open and all tbe carne asada and other fillings hit plate and made a real mess on my Parents table getting grease on rug. I went back up there with chicken burrito and just aluminium sheet that was wrapped around my Carne Asada Burrito(which had a pool of grease in it from carne asada burrito. The cashier offered to make another carne asada burrito for me, which to be honest I said I would just like my money back, because this is the third time they did this to me and I didn’t want a greasy burrito. The lady hands me on 5 bucks and this other woman there whi was so rude to me and threatened to call police on me for complaining about the food they served me, for what them making me greasy burritos and only giving me 5 bucks back. The owner comes to window and says he doesn’t want to serve me anymore, for what? I guess if they make terrible food, it must be my fault, I guess, right? I am a Disabled Veteran from te Navy, so maybe they just don’t like me who knows right? It is my opinion, and my opinion only on how the owner made me feel. You would think he would have at least apologized to me for how some of his staff treated me, and the terrible food. I would not recommend this place to anyone, unless you want greasy food. Like I said this place as done this to me before, and I thought I would give them another chance. It was my own stupidity to think this place cared about serving us customers good food. Do not go to this place because they have bad food, service and so unprofessional. If you think I am wrong order something and see what happens. They might make you another whatever you complained about, but if you ask for your money back. Good luck on getting all of it back. Very rude staff and terrible greasy food.

I gotta go 5 stars here. I’ve had a lot of great Mexican food from all over the west, including Mexico. This is the real deal and very authentic. My go to choice is the Al Pastor super burrito. Never disappoints and the staff is super friendly. Do yourself a favor and have some REAL Mexican food.

Way better than Super Burrito. I love this place, they have great food and are fast. I don’t know why they are closed on Sunday though.

Best Mexican food in town, and you can’t beat the prices. Been a customer since they were a food truck, and now have a stand. It’s always busy, and they deserve to be.

We went here for the first time speaking it had such good reviews. I ordered something basic, since we have never been here before. I’m sorry but we were not super impressed, and honestly don’t understand how this is almost a 5 star rating eatery. The rice tasted straight from a box! It was just OK. Being a Mexican American, I’ve been raised around Mexican food my whole life and this was a different experience for sure!

This is an outdoor taco stand, and they are good at what they do. Fantastic tacos, burritos, tortas, etc. Great price, nice people and the food comes out fast and hot!

The best Mexican street food you can get. Period! Small shack on the roadside and there is usually a line but worth the wait! I can’t say that I have had anything that I didn’t like. The tacos and burritos are amazing and come with various meats such as carne asada, pollo, carnitas, al pastor, etc. Don’t miss this place if you are driving through!

This is one great taco cart. The food was fast and the burrito(I had al pastor) was about the best I’ve ever had. Definitely worth a stop on the way through this town.

AMAZING! We have been here multiple times and never had a bad item. Their El Pastor tortas(spicy pork sandwiches) are sublime. The service is welcoming and easy. Sometimes you have to wait in line a little while but, it is so worth the wait. The tacos are terrific and rustic. Just a bit of cilantro and onions sprinkled over the meat which is on top of two corn tortillas; add a splash of lime and perfection. Try the lengua and/or cabeza tacos. The chicken, beef and pork are also great.

Don’t let all the FIVESTAR reviews fool you, it was a BIG disappointment! CRAVE is an understatement, I hadn’t had a taco in a week now and I was ready to EAT! bring out the ipad and someone get on the GPS and start searching TACOS! well pickings is slim in these parts of the woods and perhaps why this place is loaded with 5-Star reviews, these folks don’t know any better. Wasting NO time I ordered 5 tacos — they have a wood picnic table or two in the back and that’s where we ate. *(((First off the Tortillas were HORRIBLE they were cold and stiff, broke apart when you picked them up, obviously failed to properly warm them up and not as fresh as they should be))) *MINUS1-STAR for BADTORTILLAS Carne Asada — Nice lean meat but needed better seasoning and more time on the grill, OK3-Stars –1 tortilla = 2-Stars Al Pastor — It’s chopped up pork in an adobo sauce that’s not very good, it’s almost like they cooked the meat then tossed it in sauce, WHY do you not have any caramelization/blackening on the meat? and Bad tortillas on top of that. 1-Star My Wife ordered 2-Al Pastor y 1-Asada — and was giving me the Evil Eye, finally said WHY did we come here! — Me, Blame the Unilocalers! Carnitas — Moist pig, yeah it was OK3-Stars –1 tortilla = 2-Stars Lengua — So this was the best from the bunch I had, but these tortillas are killin’ the tacos. Very tender and lean, their salsa’s are pretty good. 4-Stars –1 tortilla = 3-Stars Buche — I always ask for my Buche«Bien Dorado» Frito crisp that stuff up like Bacon, theirs nothing worse than rubbery buche. It could have been crispier and their were a few soft pieces. OK3-Stars –1 tortilla = 2-Stars Even with fresh warmed tortillas this place wouldn’t get above 3-Stars in my book, but I gotta keep it real.

The food here may arguably be the best in all of Fernley. The food we enjoyed here was unarguably among the best of all meals we had during a week long road trip that included a visit to Las Vegas in the mix. Options include tacos, quesidillas, tortas and burritos with fillings that range from vegetarian to pork to beef. They even have Cabeza and Lenqua… and I can think of a couple of Unilocal friends who would be happy to have those options available. We highly recommend the tacos(in my hubby’s choices two pork options — one al pastor and one carnitas– were excellent) at only $ 1.25 each. For an additional quarter you can get a slice of perfectly ripe avocado(recommended). The super veggie burrito is remarkably good and only $ 4.75. The highest priced options on the menu include a Platillo for only $ 6 that includes six tortillas(these are great corn tortillas by the way), a choice of meat, rice, beans, salad and condiments. In addition to the great food, they offer horchata in three sizes. Jehova Es Mi Pastor is in a small building that looks as if it might be a modified trailer that sits right on the mail drag in Fernley. There is no indoor seating but a couple of tables in front offer seats for about eight and there is additional seating under cover at the rear of the building at picnic tables for about a dozen more. There are two small bathrooms off the back for customers to use. Not only is the food delicious, everything here shows pride of ownership and is sparkling clean. Open seven days a week, 10:00 a t09:30p on Friday and Saturday and 10:00 to 9:00p on all other days of rhe week. this is a hard working family owned operation. If you call ahead to place your oder, they’ll have it waiting when you arrive. Parking is available in small dirt lot at the side of the building. For people using wheeled things, like wheelchairs or walkers or strollers, the surface is firm enough to be navigable all the way to the order window. The sign in front, showing a drawing of a large dog like a golden retriever, says«No dogs on tables.» I think it means no dogs at the tables. This is also a no smoking property. Jehovah Es Mi Pastor’s order window is eight hours from my front door by car. Were it not for the long drive, my hubby and I agreed we’d be regulars here. If you are visiting Fernely or live there, go eat here! PS — After your meal at this great little place, drive across town — it’s a small town and a short drive — to Steve’s Homemade Ice Cream for dessert!
