The outside and décor don’t leave much to get excited about but it’s more than made up for with the food. For starters it’s hard to find gluten free and vegetarian Thai food. That seems hard to believe since there is a strong Buddhist tradition in Thailand, but trying to get most Thai restaurants to understand vegetarian means no fish sauce seems impossible. Anyway, this place gets it. The waitress was very knowledgeable. In addition it’s nice that they will make curries vegetarian and gluten free. A lot of places make their curry paste ahead of time and are unwilling to accommodate anything different. Anyway, for the actual food. The people raving about the Pad Thai are so so right. It’s the best I have ever had. The Mussaman curry was delicious but not a huge crazy stand out from lots of others I have had. My husband said his Panang curry was a little bland. So for me I would rate the meal a 5 star and for him a 3 star. So let’s split the difference and say it was a 4 star meal that was definitely worth it. Ps: we were just driving through and needed something close off of I5 and this was just perfect

I have eaten here two times now and I love it! Wonderful flavors, nice and fresh. They don’t skimp on the spice and that, to me is GREAT! I love it when I can see into the kitchen of a Thai restaurant and see legit Thai women making the magic happen. You’ve got to try the homemade chili paste… Oh. My. I’m so happy to have tried Luxe Thai and that it’s one of the closest restaurants to where I live. The Noodle Delight is amazing as is the Pad Woon Sen. Their Pad Thai doesn’t look like any Pad Thai I’ve ever had anywhere but it tastes incredible. Bottom line: if you like Thai food you have got to eat here.

I’ve tried every Pad Thai in Whatcom county and theirs is by far the best and most authentic. They don’t use any red coloring to make it American friendly. It’s it an old fashioned family pad Thai recipe right in Ferndale. My perfect and most favorite meal is their lunch special with half red curry and half pad Thai. Can’t go wrong!

For being a small town, there’s really no shortage of good restaurants in Ferndale. Luxe Thai, however, sits at the top of the heap. Not only is it probably the best restaurant in Ferndale, in my opinion it’s the best Thai restaurant in the county. I’ve been eating here for years, even before they moved to their current location. Their Pad Thai is absolutely the best available anywhere. I travel a lot, all over the country, and Pad Thai is a staple for me. I always seek out Thai restaurants when traveling and I’ve yet to find a restaurant that can improve upon Luxe Thai’s recipe. The owners are fantastic, I look forward to seeing them almost as much as I enjoy the food. If you want the best Thai food in Whatcom County, head over to Ferndale.

Great food, I now go here all the time instead of the Thai restaurant in Blaine, WA which is much closer to me. The spice level is AUTHENTIC. The food is GREAT. The ambiance is missing in action. The service is typical Thai — you have been served — now I can ignore you for awhile. If you are a foodie, this is for you. If you are a snobby, it isn’t.

I was skeptical of finding good Thai food in Ferndale, and i was pleasantly surprised! We get takeout here about once a month, and it’s always still hot by the time it gets home. The ingredients are higher-quality and prepared well; the phad thai is al dente and sticky, which is ideal, and if there’s meat in the dish, it’s been trimmed properly and doesn’t contain gristle. It’s a pretty standard price point, but they are generous with their servings, so i can usually eat one order for two or even three meals.

Really great Thai food in Ferndale, who knew? They have vegetarian options(tofu) as well as everything you’d expect on a Thai menu. If you’re in Ferndale, and are looking a good meal, this is probably one of your only options.

Small venue with big tastes. Not a bad fish in the house. Very fond of the crab Rangoon and the garlic chicken. Great option if your dining in Ferndale.

Great food and chef Sue is incredible nice and friendly. Chef Sue came in to cook on Sunday for catering food to go for 20 people, she provided more portion than my order and every one loves every single dish.

Guess if you don’t have anything great to rate it to, your stuck with local taste buds. Don’t get me wrong this place with good average inedible which is more than I can say with a few places I’ve been to. I like the staff was great the food was a little blander even know that you can get the level of spice that you want but it didn’t have the richness, or full body flavor but i cooking have and sometimes that is because the cook will tone it down so this way the locals can enjoy it more.

Currently my favorite Thai food in Whatcom county. Its always good, and I have never been disappointed. Their garlic lovers chicken is amazing(if you like garlic), and the pad see ewe is good too. Don’t forget to try the fresh rolls, they are much better than the spring rolls.

Unilocal says they’re open until 8:30. Our large group arrived at 8:00 when they actually close. We didn’t know this until after we ate and asked. They provided great service and the food was very fresh and flavorful. They run a little hotter on the spice scale, but all was very good. Go there, you’ll like it!

This is truly the best Thai food I have ever had! So authentic, so fresh, you can tell their recipes are really healthy. The pad Thai is so delicious and a great balance of flavors, no weird red sauce here, just authentic ingredients and flavors garlic, fish sauce, and lime. The peanut sauce is the best by the way for all you junkies out there! I really wish this was closer to my house, almost worth moving back to Whatcom county for!

We loved our meal at Luxe Thai! The food was delicious(3 star heat for me, 4 for hubs) and the location is cute and clean! The staff are friendly, seem to know almost everyone that comes through the door(a great sign) and they were HOPPING busy! Take out orders, a full dining room. we really enjoyed our food. I had the cashew chicken(next time I’ll get more adventurous) we shared spring rolls, and my husband had the spicy squid dish. He loved it! I’m personally not a huge fan of squid, but I had a bite and it was delightful in flavor. We were super hungry, so there weren’t many leftovers, BUT, if we hadn’t been so ravenous, there would have been plenty to bring home, and have for leftovers the next day. We’ll be back often, for takeout and dine in!

Great Thai food! Is actually spicy! We got the Pad See Ew, and the Massaman Curry(they spell it differently). Both were delicious. Don’t let Unilocal directions tell you were to go, they send you(in my case) left instead of right! Typing the actually restaurant name into Google maps did the trick. Very friendly service. We’ll definitely be going again!

So cheerful and exhude genuine serenity. I’ll take a double of whatever they’re doing so right. Following my modus operandi if you followed past reviews, I ordered to go. rolled out of there with cashew chicken and the chicken satay periods any of the chicken satay in the car and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. In the past I’ve struggled with chicken that is bit dry or cut too thickly or not marinated correctly… And these sisters nailed it. perfectly prepared, cooked and presented with wowza peanut sauce and cucumber vinegar garni, The Saturdays were inhaled on the way home. Cashew chicken with the noodles… nice flavor… I hate baby canned corn and there’s did not taste canned. the corn itself was larger than normal very new and strange experience that was a plus. had a hankering for more vegetable and chicken. do not see a need for a pile of white rice when you have noodles. for the prize I would have preferred a little bit more of the veggies and sauce with the noodles and rice. definitely warrants an encore… I love these sagas of hardworking immigrants making a small community a better place while they live the American dream.

Vegan options: Yes Service: Quick Food: Good The student group that I’m with went here for dinner last night and enjoyed our meal. There were nine of us and Luxe Thai did a great job of serving us efficiently. I was impressed that even with a small kitchen and our large group, all of our meals were delivered exactly as we’d ordered them. We ordered the fresh rolls, a curry, several noodle dishes, and a couple of fried rice dishes. As far as I know, everyone liked their dinner, except one gal who thought her Pad Thai tasted sour. I am vegan and ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice w/Tofu(no egg, specified no fish sauce). It probably wouldn’t win any awards but it was good and I finished almost all of it! I got mine a level 3 spiciness and thought it was perfect, especially with some soy sauce & hot pepper flakes. The food was also aesthetically presented which is always nice. I’d return here if I’m ever in Ferndale again someday.

The local Chamber of Commerce has voted this the«Best Thai» food restaurant for at least the past 6 years. While the food was indeed tasty, I couldn’t help wondering if it was voted the best in this category because it’s probably the only Thai restaurant in this quaint, podunk town. There is a lunch and dinner menu. Since my go-to favorites, the red and green curries, only appeared on the dinner menu, I decided to try the Sweet and Sour dish off the lunch menu. This dish really reminded me of Cantonese cooking. The dish came with steamed white rice, so no need to order a side bowl. You have an option of beef, pork, chicken, shrimp and tofu. I threw them a wild card and asked for vegetarian, and they pleasently surprised me with a piping hot dish of mixed vegetables in a succulent sweet and sour sauce that was neutral in color instead of nuclear, bright red that you often find at other places. Bring cash, a Mastercard or Visa to pay. This place doesn’t accept AMEX or personal checks. Service staff are polite, quick and efficient. Street parking is free and easy to find night and day. I’ll definitley be back to try their curries.
