Checkers

A sloppy big bear burger. It’s checkers. No complaints from this bear. A little slow but it’s worth it.

I ordered the double steakhouse bacon burger, the double fish sandwich, and the french fry burger. This was The worst food that I have ever had from a burger joint. The bacon smelled spoiled, (think of old bacon that you forgot for a month or two in the drawer, then tried to cook it. The fish sandwich was oily outside, thin, dry and tough as leather inside. I could not stomach more than two bites of each. They tasted like they smelled — old, rancid, not fit for human consumption. It was late, so I put them back in the bag, and went to bed. The next day, I returned to talk to a manager about their food quality. They told me at the drive-​thru window that I would have to get out of my car and come in to talk to them about a problem. When I walked in, a really scuzzy looking old woman with a dirty weave flipped over her head had an Aunt Esther scowl on her face (Think Wicked Witch of the East Side) and said that she would have to call a manager on the phone. She looked at the receipt and said that this was from last night, there was nothing she could do. I said «That’s all I wanted to know.» and left. Needless to say, I wouldn’t recommend eating anything here unless you like rancid smelling bacon and greasy breaded fish jerky. Who knows what they are doing to the food here before you get it.
