J Mike’s has great traditional bar food and their bartenders have a heavy pour — everything you want in a neighborhood bar. They also have good live music on the weekends.

It was my families first time here and I really had no expectations. We were a bit concerned when we had to walk through a cloud of smokers out front but once we got inside we saw why they were outside. No smoking even at the bar! The place was bright, the server was friendly, and the food came out quickly. A band was setting up for the evening but the sound check was extremely quiet. We got a turkey wrap, Roast Beef, Chicken Sandwich, and Steak Sandwich. Everyone enjoyed what they had. The only complaint from my daughter was the fried chicken patty really didn’t have any flavor. My other daughter really enjoyed the Steak Sandwich and my wife and I enjoyed splitting our two sandwiches — the Roast beef being the better of the two. Many other families came in with kids and there were large party tables. There were many things on then menu that we want to try so we will be back.

Met some friends up there while I was in town. We went there the first time for Christmas night. Had a few beers and then left. I agree with the review that the beer selection should be broadened. This past weekend, I was in town again. Met some friends for lunch there. I had the buffalo chicken wrap. It was very good(I was hesitant to get the wings, as I heard they changed the recipe from the That One Place recipe– not true it is the same! They do have a Sybergs type sauce as well). The wrap was good, it would have been excellent if it wasn’t swimming in ranch dressing. It was excessive. A friend got wings«Bubba» style(an old TOP favorite) those were just as excellent as they ever were. I’ll definitely try it again when we return to Fenton. Waitstaff is friendly, food is good, place is clean and nonsmoking,

This was our first time there for lunch. I had the BLT, which came with a ton of fries, seasoned well, unlike some places. My husband had one of the burgers. It had awesome flavor. They use a charbroiler, which intensives the flavor. He ordered the onion rings. OMG, there was only 6 pieces, BUT these were ginormous! Not kidding. The atmosphere was nice, and our waitress was very nice. She took the time to talk to us for a few minutes and tell us a little bit about the place. We really enjoyed the food and definitely will be back! Take a chance on a new place.

We went on a Sunday afternoon to try this new place in Fenton. Tons of sports on the many tv’s in the place so you can watch any game you want. Rams game was on the giant screen. Roast Beef sandwich I had tasted good and wife burger and fries were good(offered with many different cheese). Also offered with house made chips. We seated ourselves and waitress came right over with menus. Good place to eat and watch the game. Prices were very reasonable.

The place looked clean and had a nice atmosphere. The food was alright. We had a Philly sandwich which wasn’t bad but was lacing a little in flavor. We also had the wings. We liked being able to choose 7, 12, or 25 rather than a pound(which is always different?!). The wings were meaty and the sauce was very tasty. We’ll definitely go back again.

Food and service was excellent. We ordered the wings, chicken ranch wrap w/homemade chips, Caesar wrap w/vegetables and turkey bacon sandwich w/fries. The owner introduced himself and gave us fried cheese and toasted ravioli on the house because a new sound guy was working on getting the band ready for the evening. He went above and beyond to make our dinner a little more enjoyable. We will be returning and telling our friends. We hope this restaurant makes it.

This is a new place and probably still working out a few wrinkles. Although the sign indicated we should wait to be seated, we sat ourselves after it appeared no one was at the door.(The server arrived promptly at the table and when we mentioned it, she suggested that perhaps the greeter had went home for the night.) Overall, our experience was okay, as the server was attentive, the place was clean and we came on a night when there were apparently some good specials. We asked for Schlafly(a popular local micro brew), but it was not offered. We opted for a locally produced corporate beer that is commonly available everywhere, which was odd for a place pushing fancier mixed drinks and vodka. However, the beer was exceptionally priced for the evening, which made up for the disappointment. The appetizers offered were of the common bar food variety, although the menu of salads seemed interesting and they also had a veggie wrap in the sandwich column. I started with a pretzel and my husband had potato skins. The pretzel came out wonderfully hot and they were happy to bake it, instead of frying it. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t get the cheese pizza we ordered. Between the thickly bubbling crust and the overly sweetened pizza sauce, it just seemed to beg for spice. It was also hard to dish the hot pizza without a spatula. Additionally, I’m not sure if it was the pizza nearly sliding off the pedestal when the server placed it on the table, but the cheese ended up pooling a lot to one side. We at three slices and brought the rest home, where upon it shall be doctored with a bit of basil, garlic and more cheese. I might go back when looking to get out for a little snack. However, I’d love to see this new restaurant shape itself into something which Fenton dearly needs — a unique restaurant and bar with a touch of that something special.

My neice is a Karaōke star and she loves to bring me along for on stage comic relief. So my bride and I went for Friday nite Karaōke last evening. We got wings and cheese balls(not fried sticks) fried cheese being one of my wife’s passions. I don’t like fried cheese but this is really good. The wings were excellent, not too spicy, just right. My nephew in law bought the«kitchen sink» pizza which he declared to be excellent. There was not a huge crowd there for karaōke but is going to change, the value for the entertainment dollar is really good. About half of the people who got on stage were well above average. Try this place, you are going to like it.

I have only had take out for here, but the atmosphere seems like a fun place to go for live entertainment when they have it or a great place to watch a sporting event. The Pizza is really good and my wife liked her sandwich, can’t remember what she got. A neighbor of mine also told me he and his family really enjoyed their dinner here a week or two ago. Just an FYI, they do ½ bake pizzas so you can take it home and cook later. It is not something they offer, but I asked and they accommodated; it was good. In case the person you talk to does not know how to do it, they baked the crust first and then put on the toppings; I then baked at 400 for about 10 to 15 minutes.
