Never in any restaurant/bar have I had this experience: I requested no meat or cheese on my nachos(only wanted the olives, jalepenos, onion, etc. for dipping in salsa). As the server was bringing out my plate, the waitress saw meat on the chips and told him I didn’t want meat. He brought it back to the window and told the cook, to which she replied«oh, it won’t kill him» and he came back and served me the meat. How about give the customer what they ordered? Usually restaurants will work to serve you what you request. As a vegan, I was totally repulsed and will never come back to this place again.

Great quiet place for Saturday breakfast. Lots of screens to catchup on news and sports. Breakfast menu is not long but has several selections, the portions are large and the food really good. Friendly staff and patrons. Defies the stereotype of breakfast in bars only being for those folks who spend too much time in them already. ;-) Heck of a lot better than waiting at either of the nearby alternatives imho: A half an hour after ordering to be served at Poverty Bay OR at least that long just to get seated at Black Bear…

Went on a Friday night. Liked the fact that it wasn’t crowded. Drinks were good, food was NOT. Had a chicken nachos and it was so dry! It was basically tortilla chips with burnt, dried up, melted, shredded cheese and the guacamole… I don’t really think it’s actual avocado. It looked and tasted NOTHING like guacamole. The chicken wings were pretty good tho. I’d return for the drinks and laid back atmosphere, but not the food.

R Jay’s Scoreboard is kind of tucked away in Federal Way– which I kind of like, because not many people were here when we went! If we’re ever in the area again and looking to play darts or grab a beer, this’ll definitely be the spot we pick. Décor: Definitely outdated. I felt like I was in a flashback to the late nineties or early 2000s, but the place is clean and has regular bar paraphernalia so it wasn’t all that bad. Service: Pretty good! However, I needed to get change from the bartender at one point and ended up waiting like five minutes for her to even notice me. Outside of her, there was nobody else for me to ask… Maybe consider upping the employees on the weekends? The layout of this place is way cool. The front is the bar and dining area, and there’s a separate room for people who are there to be loud and play(which is where we hung out). At first it was just my boyfriend and I in the entire room, but then a group of loud ass regulars showed up and bumped up the music waaay loud and occupied the rest of the room. That room has a lounge type area, two dart boards, and a couple of pool tables. I think I read that it’s available to rent. Definitely a cool place to check out!

Went in for breakfast after a run. First time here. There was one girl working the bar and tables. Not super busy. After almost an hour waiting for our food, and watching others that came in after us get their food we finally complained. She said it was sitting in the window. 20 min later we still didn’t have our food. We asked for the check and she apologized, sort of saying there was only 1 cook. Several other people also left after waiting to order for 20 min. She offered to box our food up at no charge but who knows how long that would take so we declined. Bloody Mary’s had no flavor. My friend was happy with her Coors Light. Can’t really mess that up. Can’t say if the food was good or bad but for sure the worst service I’ve ever had. Bummed because it’s close to my house and was hoping it was going to be a great place.

Hit or miss. The food has gotten better. Service has gone down hill though. The young female manager is great but the male server(bald) could care less. Was much better when the bartender with the Mohawk was here… Fyi just dropped to 2 stars cause the bald/shaved head polynesian server couldn’t even say a simple«thank you» when picking up the tab. We will not be back if he’s working. This guy needs to learn the basics of customer service. He acted this way the whole time we were here. BRUTAL!!!

Nice atmosphere but the music they pipe in is terrible during the week for happy hour. If you add music on jukebox it only plays in the gameroom which sucks. The beer selection is good and lots of tvs. Food is decent for a sports bar in Federal Way.

Nice bar with a good layout. Decent food and pricing. Service in the back can be a bit slow… but they are friendly!

Looking for a place to have a cold beer and perhaps some food but after receiving my beer, that was the last time the bartender came by. A guy who is obviously a regular walks in and has a beer and pull tabs within seconds only two seats down from me and she still chose not to ask if I needed anything. Well, guess I now know why at 5:10 on a Monday night, the place is empty. I’m finishing this one and heading somewhere else.

I really like this place. The food selection is good, the prices are reasonable and the staff is AWESOME. I would give this place another star if they were able to keep it more comfortable temp wise. In the summer, I have to bring a jacket as the AC is on full blast but I also have to bring a winter coat, gloves and a scarf in the colder months because the AC is still on full blast. And I find it quite uncomfortable to eat, drink and converse while dressed for the slopes. P. S.NO, I am NOT one of those girls that’s always cold! In fact, my windows are open and my fan is on low as I type this. When I was there yesterday, every single customer was dressed in the same manner — coats, hats, etc…

Starting Wednesday, Nov. 18th, R J’s will be offering karaōke weekly. This is a great bar, good service and atmosphere. Usually not too crowded, but karaōke here should be a blast.

This place has gone through some changes recently, and it looks like they landed on their feet. A very friendly attentive staff, good atmosphere, and amazing food! This is where my wife and I come to unwind after a long hard days work.

I hate to give this place a mediocre review at all, but the last few times I have been here the service has been so slow I could have gone to the store and back before I’ve been served. It seems that there aren’t enough bartenders on the busiest nights. They tend bar as well as serve, so that’s another mistake. My suggestion is that if you do go, be prepared to sit and hang out for awhile.

One of the best sports bar I have been, awesome food and friendly people… I love this place… looking forward to be there again for experiencing one my best time… Since I am not American I don’t follow football but the crowd intensity made me learn the game. Cheers guys and plz do visit the place as it is the best place in federal way

Had a lousy time on a football Sunday at 1pm. Place was crawling with older bozos who stood around yapping, blocking the big TV despite repeated requests to get the hell out of the way. Fried calamari was tasty, but the cheeseburger and fries were on the greasy side. Mind you, everything tasted lousier because of the annoying geezers blocking the game. I’ll try other places before returning here.

Love this place. Just recently moved to the area and wanted something fun to do. I looked up bars near me and this one popped up. Went there for date night about 2 weeks ago and have been going every Friday and Saturday night. The service is great! Josh always answers all my questions and has the memory of an elephant, he never forgets! Jason makes the best margaritas I’ve ever had. And janae* is a total sweetheart. She makes the best drink recommendations and knows the menu inside and out, all the specials, runs the food out proficiently and provides excellent customer service! I have never been treated so well at a bar before. I feel as if I’ve been going here for decades rather than just a few weeks.

This place has been around forever, it seems. It’s in an awkward location that makes it difficult to spot(near Celebration Park) unless you already know where you’re going so it makes sense that most of the bar’s customers are locals. We recently came with a group of friends to celebrate a move. They’ve got plenty of seating, pool tables, a dart board, and a number of TVs mounted on the wall. It’s a great place to watch your(insert sport, fight, etc.) here and it’s a chill place to hang out when you’re with a group of people. The staff is friendly though the drinks are not the best. I’d stick to beers or shots if you want to order drinks. I’ve heard the food is decent but it’s been a while since I’ve ordered anything here so my food memory has faded. It’s not my go-to but it’s a reliable option.

Great place with a good attitude from the top down. everyone is very nice. The atmosphere is upbeat and cheery. Awesome food for a bar, plus dailey specials. They also show all UFC and sporting events for free. It’s tough to leave this place.

Wow glad I stopped by! Will bookmark and make it a stop next time I am in town. Lots if tv’s to enjoy your sports addiction. The owners were good folks and ambitious to please. Maybe one more time before I head south. Lots of selections for food and drink. Give them a try. In this case support your local bar! Cheers!!!

We come here a lot, I like the seating and all the tv’s. And while the new owner is very nice and the staff is too, the service is oh slightly better than the previous owners. When it’s busy, I would expect the staffing to be amped up to meet demands(aka big Hawks games, it’s a sports bar!). We met a group here once for a game, showed up really early to ensure a table, but the service was SOO slow. They were clearly under staffed, I’ve noticed regulars or friends of servers getting attention to the point of just pure socializing while we were still waiting to have a drink order taken and that’s at non-busy times. We do like the make your own Bloody Mary bar, you can get your drink in a timely manner(sorry that may be a low blow but I can’t help myself). The back room with pool and darts ect is nice. I have to say I am not a fan of the food either! I know it’s bar food, and maybe Sport’s Sports bar(evergreen rd in Everett, WA!) has ruined me because they have top notch food in a sports bar, and now I’m convinced it’s possible! The salads and wraps are mostly croutons(Maybe that’s up your alley, but not mine, I love wraps, not croutons in a tortilla) the grilled chicken on the salad was chewy and sinewy. I like the flavor of their chili but it is like a salt lick with beans. The Crème brûlée top was chewy and stuck to my teeth. My friends really like the sandwiches and burgers. They are juicy and cheesy and so you can’t really go wrong there; I do like the chicken alfredo. I am a huge WINGSFAN! Love wings! Their wings make me sad, their crispy to the point that the skin kinda turns to dust in your mouth, there isn’t much chicken to them, but on top of all that, they don’t even toss the sauce on for you, you have to double dip the wing into the wing sauce(one small container which is hard to get a wing into in the first place) followed by another dip into the ranch/blue cheese ext. Totally not a good wing experience. All in all if it’s not busy and you’re intserested in watching a game, having a drink, and a greasy sandwhich you’ll fare alright.
