What terrible service this morning. The crew was much more interested in visiting with each other than serving the customers. Hopefully they get their act together soon.

I knew my best friend and I should have walked out the moment we walked in. There were 3 groups of people including myself waiting to be seated, but the staff seemed to be overwhelmed even though there was plenty of staff for the amount of people in the restaurant. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated and the booth they sat us in was uncomfortable and tight. Once seated and handed our menus a waitress comes by asks for our drinks then automatically asks for our order before we can even cracked open our menus. I asked for a few minutes and my best friend and I decided both on the lumberjack slam. 15 minutes later the waitress returns to take our order. We got seated at 145 and ordered around 2. As we’re sitting there, a gentleman came in, sat down, ordered got his food, ate, paid and left before we even got our food. There was a staff of 4 including the managers and 10 patrons in the restaurant. While waiting I watched a customer actually bring her plate of food up to the cash register to have it boxed because she got tired of waiting. When I finally think we need to leave, our food comes out… at 245. Everything is warm, not hot. And the hash browns are not completely cooked. Pancakes were over cooked and tough. When we were almost finished eating, we were finally checked on twice by our waitress and the manager. Another customer stopped the waitress and called her our about the wait, and this was the first time I saw the other waitresses actually speed up if only for a moment. My best friend and I finished our food and went to the register as no one left us a bill. The manager asked if we were tipping and I said no. While processing my card the waitress walked by 3 times to see if we were leaving a tip or left a tip on the table. It is now certain, we will never come back to this Dennys ever again.

After the renovations this place is a lot cleaner and the customer service and the food seem to be a lot better too. Maybe new management? However what made me really want to write this review is because of Timika. She has the best customer service I’ve ever had at any Denny’s. She greeted me with such a warm smile. She is super quick and attentive, definitely makes me not want to go to any other Denny’s but this specific one. Definitely come check this place out Timika will take excellent care of you.

I went there 2 weeks ago and they gave us are check before we started eating it was disrespectful, and are service was bad it took 40 min to get are food and no one was there. There were like 2 tables with people in them and they where just leaving.

Don’t go to this Denny’s if you are hungry, it took a couple of minutes after one hour of placing our order to get the food, if there was a no star I would give it.

My Grandson and I stopped for breakfast and I have to give them 4 stars for today’s service. The breakfast was good and we both enjoyed the Hot Chocolate. Actually better than many coffee places. Service today was great — friendly and efficient. I don’t recall the last time I actually had a meal — usually we just have breakfast so I can’t comment on the other food — hard to mess up breakfast — although I stopped ordering their sausages — too shriveled and overcooked most of the time. Although the price of the Grandslam has increased — it is still a fast and enjoyable way to start or end the day.

We got seated pretty fast(3 mins). After we ordered our food(5 plates), food took a bit more than usual which we understood. I was disappointed upon receiving my burnt Philly Steak. The onions and steak were charred dark, burnt, and smelly. I had never had something this bad in my life. My other plates and dronks were fair so I give this place an overall 4 out of 10 score. They should focus on their food more.

Upon arrival we were promptly seated and had great service. The food overall was good but was prepared differently than other Denny’s we have been to, how my husband complained that he didn’t get his pickle :-)

Been to this place numerous times and it is always the same story — slow service, incompetent service, items missing from the order, and apologies with the bill. I’ve had it. This place joins the rank of other chain restaurants in the area that I will no longer patronize because I can get better service in the next town. The food was good, but it was obvious that the staff could care less. This particular time my omelette was supposed to be topped with tomatoes, but it came bare. I pointed it out to the waitress, she took it back and it was obvious the tomatoes were thrown on the plate with more passion than was shown in serving the food. It was supposed to come with bread and the bread never showed up. We were ignored from the time our food arrived until we left our table to get our check. Our waitress, Tamika, lost out on my customary tip. Also, I was(am) still hungry and I probably would’ve ordered dessert. But time is fleeting and I really didn’t want to be waiting an additional hour and probably get a dessert with a missing component.

Been sitting here for 45 minutes– still no food and had to ask 2 people to get a coffee and water refill after waiting for 30 after they had gone dry… Can’t say I’m super impressed as of yet…

Good takes a ridiculous amount of time to come out after being ordered. Service is(usually) always lagging no matter how slow or busy the restaurant is. Food always tends to be a bit too salty. Unneeded conversations in the kitchen can be heard from outside, sometimes yelling occurs. Seats are not in good condition, rips and tears everywhere.

Never had this kind of experience at Denny’s — the skillet we ordered not only tastes outrageously bad, but also costed me a serious diarrhea. And worst of all, they refused to apologize. An additional star for other food that was fine and just as other Denny’s in the states. I probably shouldn’t be this desperate to pick a chain store when I am on a road trip next time.

Very slow service and substandard food. We were assured the ‘donut holes’ were soon to arrive…10 minutes later they did. It was 15 minutes between coffee refills. It to ok over 20 minutes for breakfast to be served. The eggs over easy had runny whites. We returned them. 10 minutes later they were replaced. Unfortunately when they were returned on the same plate with the biscuits and gravy and hash browns that were now cold. We gave up on that plate… one of got to eat a burger with an overly sweet sauce and the other had only coffee. How can you not make a decent breakfast? This Denny’s has mastered it. I’ve had much better meals at others.

I came back to have breakfast with my friend and thankfully Miss Violet, who is one of the managers was here and it’s unbelievable the difference when she is here. I also noticed it was different servers this time. The difference is night and day. The food was great, the service was great.

This Denny’s is located across the street from the Commons Mall in Federal way. It’s still pretty simple to get to. The parking lot is a pain if it’s busy but when it’s not during any type of mealtime rush, it’s not so bad. I don’t normally go to this Denny’s because of what city it’s located in but for the most part it’s got the same feel as all the other Denny’s nearby. Same selection of alright food and the same just alright customer service. I just went to this Denny’s on a Saturday afternoon and I was in and out of there in less than 45 minutes. But I know that if they were busy, I would have been there for at least an hour. So I always just plan on eating at any Denny’s to take at least an hour or more. The outside is usually just alright when it comes to being kept up and clean. People are always lazy and can’t seem to get their garbage in the garbage cans that are located right near the door. And the inside is usually alright as well. After a busy rush the floor can get pretty gross from people being slobs and getting their food all over the place and somehow missing their mouths. It can get loud in here when it gets busy but during slower times it’s not so bad. One thing I do not appreciate is when I used to stay out late, every time I would come here after midnight… the waitresses were always rude to me and treated me like I was some dumb stoner just out to get my munchie fix. Not everyone works during the day and is asleep at night… and not everyone that is out late is stoned. So I did not appreciate being treated like garbage every time I was out late. In all this is a typical Denny’s. Don’t come here late night because you’ll get terrible service and you’ll encounter rude staff. During the day though, it’s just fine. Avoid normal«feeding times», like right at lunch time or dinner time… it’ll be busy and you will get slow service.

Darn it, I like Denny’s! I’ve grown up with Denny’s and have many fond memories of family dinners and celebrations at our local Denny’s. I’d say maybe Denny’s are a thing of the past but there were sure a lot of people at a weird hour, not quite lunch but a bit late for breakfast. The food was standard Denny’s fair and was cooked perfectly to order on all of our plates. The portions are nice and everything came out hot. The service was super friendly but holy cow was it slow! We waited forever for them to even take our order but darn it, she was so friendly and sweet it erased our negative feelings right away! Then we waited an eternity for our food but darn it, when she brought it out she was so sweet and friendly and the food was piping hot so once again, we were happy! I’m not sure if that’s normal for this Denny’s as I didn’t read any of the prior reviews, so I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt and rating three stars. I’d give more stars but dang, the slow service and really really long wait won’t let me!

I visited on a Sunday, right around the high stress time of church crowd rush. Upon entering, we were kindly greeted and given a requested booth and high chair. Our server was with us to take our drink orders right away. We were given enough time to make our choices and our waitress, Jana, was attentive to our timing and checked up on us as we needed. She was very nice and helpful. She gave us extra napkins and plate for the little one, very helpful. Our drinks were refilled and we were taken care of very well. Other employees interacted with us and they were very friendly, too. The food was good. It’s Denny’s, so it’s not gourmet, but it’s a whole lot better than a lot of places. Huge variety of meal options/customizations. I was very happy with the service here. Especially at peek rush on Sunday. I’m not sure what the negative reviews are based on, not to convincing with such little detail.

I would say does the trick here, I mean this is Denny’s we are talking about so I already know what to expect when walking through the doors. Although not sure if its me or not but I have noticed that the quality has improved at some of the recent ones I have been to, and this being one of them. It is clean inside and menu selection has some interesting options. There seems to be more choices than in the past years and they seem to maintain a nice price point. Usually my wife and I will go here for breakfast on the weekends and most of the time we don’t have to wait too long to be seated and to get service. I think they are deserving of a 4 star rating since I have noticed some improvements.
