M Mazzoni Jewelers

12 months ago, I went in there to discuss designing an engagement ring for my partner. I informed them that I live out of state but they came highly recommended. He (the owner, this Mazzoni fellow) said that he’d have someone call me to discuss the design. I even offered to put down a down payment. He never called back until about a month ago when he inquired whatever happened to me. I politely informed him that no one ever contacted me so they must not want my business. I will keep my business back in my home state of Massachusetts, where it is earned and deserved.

Took the wife to get a special treat for her birthday. Didn’t have to wait long. This place is friendly and neat.

Recently, I visited this beautiful jewelry store. Excellent selection of rings, necklaces, etc. Unfortunately, my visit there was very uncomfortable. I noticed they had a sign in the window that says they buy gold and diamonds, so I brought in a couple items I no longer wear, a diamond wedding band and a gemstone and diamond ring. The salesperson took the items to a gentleman that was in the jewelers area and he promptly came out to speak with me. In a very condescending tone he said, «I’m not really interested in these, I’d give you XXX dollars for them». He then, turned his back and walked away. Wow, how rude and awkward… he implied my jewelry was junk and not worth the minute of time it took him to walk out to the sales floor. The subliminal insult was completely unnecessary; all he had to say was that he would offer me xxx dollars if I was interested.
Also, I was thinking about taking a look at a ring mounting there I liked, but changed my mind after that.
Mr. or Ms. Mazzoni, people like to be treated respectfully whether they are buying something or not. If you don’t want to be bothered with buying gold and diamond items, then why don’t remove your sign?
As a previous business owner in downtown Farmington, I am disappointed to say I will not be back.

Excellent Friendly staff and service. The 1^st time I walked in they made me feel like family. They have a huge selection of Pandora. Beautiful jewelry and a jeweler in the store! Great place!

This is a wonderful jeweler with great customer service and a really hip selection of jewelry. They carry pandora, thomas sabo and others and the store is bright and cheery. There is a repair guy on-​site, and they will clean your rings for free just for stopping in (even if your ring wasn’t purchased there). The staff is very knowledgeable and never pushy. Love it!
