For the quality and the quantity of the food it’s quite over priced. Had nihari which was good but little spicy. The portion size is small: less meat and more gravy is offered. High prices for a very simple ambience and mediocre quality /quantity brings the rating down for me.

The only good dish here is Chicken Kadhai. Every other dish they male can kill you. Not joking. There normal dishes have half oil and half dish. Hygiene — None. I saw atleast 2 small cockroaches during my last visit. Yes on my table. They gave excuse that next to them is a halal market and roaches came from there. Even spoons were not washed properly. They are not Giving Good IMPRESSIONFOR Indian food.

So an update– the food overall is ok. I ordered chapli kabobs and my husband ordered biryani. The biryani is average and the Chapli kabobs were too salty. At least the food was cooked properly.

Real poor service. Only one person makes the food out there and one person serves the food out there. If you’re looking for service this is the place that one must not go to. Had to wait multiple times for at least an hour for food.

I am very surprised at the good reviews. After my experience, I wouldn’t eat this food even if they offer it for free. Its not cheap, servings are very small and they nickle and dime you. I ordered chicken karachi and literally there were four small pieces of meet, two wings split into two. The two kebobs in a platter tasted like cardboard with spices. Absolutely disgusting. The Nihari was bearable but very little meat. Naans were over cooked too. Will never go back. I am sad as there arent any good pakistani places in Detroit Area

Loved the food. Small and not fancy but food was tasty and well made. Best Biryani I have had in the area.

I was visiting from out of town and decided to have lunch here. This place is pretty authentic. I ordered a Nihari. It came with a Nan. The food was very good and I ordered another Nan to finish the Nihari off. The Nans were a little on the drier side. I got a Chicken Biryani to go. Wasn’t disappointed. The lady who was making the food came out of the kitchen a couple times. She looked like a Desi Mom. That’s how you know that it’s the real deal. I would definitely go there again if I was ever in town.

Honestly not a bad place to eat — food is decent and service is ok. Thing is, around 4 some years ago, the nihari was INCREDIBLE. Perfect consistency, so spicy and Pakistani. But now, it is obvious that instead of the traditional ‘atta’, they use corn starch to thicken the curry. That makes the nihari feel and taste unauthentic and makes it almost IMPOSSIBLE to eat it as a leftover. Also, food’s a bit overpriced for its quality. Overall, this is a good place if you’re in the mood for average Pakistani food. Just be sure to eat everything fresh as it’s quite difficult to eat as leftovers.

Firstly, if you are doing a carryout. Good. But, if you are planning to eat there. Very bad! The waitress there is such a pain that she will make it a worst experience for you even though the food is good. in my experience, she came after a long time to take the order. never got the silver ware. after several minutes came back and told that they put chicken on our soup by mistake, are we ok with it? i had to cancel the order forcefully. im never going to visit this place again. i cannot face a rude person and spoil my mood for some tasty food

I have visited with my family to Michigan for a couple of days and was searching a Pakistani/indian restaurant where I can have a decent meal. THISRESTAURANTISONEOFTHEWORSTONMYLISTASFARASTHEFOODCONCERNS. I saw the chef drop the food on the kitchen floor and picked it up like it was no problem and then mixed it into the blender for the masala. the kebobs were 90% bread crums and 10% meat. Bread had hair in between, The chicken kharahi was presented in a small pot with half oil and curry with no chicken. baryani rice was prepared in heavy oil and no taste at all. Desert was also order which rice pudding(keer) which looked very old and spoiled. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone due to unhygienic and tasteless food. Best Pakistani restaurant in Det. Unlike Indian restaurants who don’t know how to handle meat items this place is the spot for great south Asian food. Nihari ofcourse is a must. But try everything. Also the desert is good

I am always looking out for authentic food so I found this place and got excited since you don’t get to find a lot of Pakistani restaurants in the Detroit area. I tried their Nihari, chicken Tikka, chicken Karahi, chicken kabab and chicken corn soup over multiple visits. The verdict: Nihari is the best dish they have on their menu. I will recommend it. The rest was below average. Chicken tikka and chicken kebab were over cooked and dry. I was able to barely finished them.

Best Pakistani food I’ve had in Michigan! I’m biased though, because I usually get the same things. They could have some dishes that aren’t very tasty and I wouldn’t know, but everything I’ve eaten here has been delicious. My absolute fav is the mutton karahi and their fresh naan. I’ve heard that the vegetarian dishes are amazing as well. I’ve tried a couple vegetarian soups and they were delish.

Great flavor and spice. Fresh Naan. Loved the cheese. Would have given it five stars but the vegetarian dish prices were high and the service wasn’t great.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! If you love some great spicy Pakistan food this is the place to be. It’s a very small intimate setting. The owner/cook is the greatest! She comes out and talks to all the customers personally. She has even taught me how to eat with my naan instead of my fork. Lol. The meat is so fresh. To the point where if they don’t have a certain meat that day you must try something else. Tandoori chicken and the mutton or chicken biryani are my favorites so far!
