It has been nearly two years since I had cosmetic vulvar surgery; the surgery did not go well so I visited with two other doctors to see if they could revise or correct the work that had been done. To my disappointment, I was told there was nothing they could do for me. I then went to Dr. Berenholz; we spoke for about 45 minutes and he laid out an innovative plan of reconstructing my vulvar structures (also informing me of the risks involved). I went ahead with the surgery a short time thereafter and was amazed with the results that we obtained; they were outstanding! This new innovative technique was developed by Dr. Berenholz after having done numerous revisions for women who had gone to other physicians. His professionalism as well as his staff were wonderful to say the least. I highly recommend this physician to anyone who has had an experience such as mine. It is my sincere hope that by me sharing my story, other women who have gone through similar experiences can be assured that they definitely have options for reconstruction with Dr. Berenholz as I am proof of that.

I am a woman who underwent laser vaginal rejuvenation surgery with Dr. Berenholz in Nov. 2009 and had to have 4 separate revisions by him over the next two years. Ladies, I am a prime example of everything that could happen when/​if you have LVR surgery. Having a perineum that does not heal and consistently has to be repaired not once or twice but FOUR times in an otherwise healthy woman is UNACCEPTABLE. This surgeon is not safe in my opinion.
