I’ll admit this from the get-go: I am a pizza snob. Bring raised in NY/NJ, I have a definite opinion as to what real pizza should taste like. OK, now that my disclaimer if out of the way, on to the pizza… I found this listed on Unilocal, with no reviews since it’s a newer place. But I was sold on the fact that this was a relation to the Momo’s clan, and the owner said he was born in Italy. The menu is limited to basic pizza styles with a handful of classic toppings like pepperoni, mushroom, olive, etc. You can choose a small for about $ 5 and a large for $ 10-$ 11. The large is 14 inches so not huge. We got one with Italian sausage(not sliced, but sort of crumbled and in sauce) and mushroom, and another, the basic with pesto and we added chicken. Very little pesto so really couldn’t taste it. The pizza was on par with Papa John’s, or someplace similar. No puffy crust with browned edges, no crispy bottom. No big bubbles. The problem may be that there is no traditional pizza oven, but instead the conveyer belt oven like what they have at Papa John’s. To me, that just doesn’t cut it. But, again, I’m a snob. Overall, there wasn’t anything inherently bad about this pizza; it’s just not great. There are small tossed salads for $ 2. BYOB. About 8 tables.
