VA Grocery & Restaurant Supply

This place is exactly what you would expect. I disagree with Julia as my expectations were more in line of what I thought this place would be. It has a variety that for the size of the place is impressive. Lots of fresh vegetables! Being all too familiar with real estate in Falls Church City you have to cram as much as you can into your space, especially a store of this unique nature mainly drawing asian people. There is not enough people to support a bigger store and I am glad they are here so I don’t have to drive 10 miles to get some vietnamese food I like.

Wow I’m the first to rate this place? Okay, well that’s. good. An adjective I could never use for this grocery store. First of all, the parking is absolutely horrendous. The size of the grocery store is so small and the place looks like an abandoned warehouse. When I went inside, everything was cramped and the store looked like it was falling apart. If I were to gain a few pounds and inches on my waist I would not even be able to walk through the aisles even if I were to turn sideways. Nothing seemed fresh at all and when my dad wanted to ask about the meat at the «fresh» (more like un-​fresh) meat counter, there was no one to attend to him. The variety of vegetables and meat was minimal (and of course not the freshest). There was only one cash register place at the front of the store with three people working it. They kept on talking and holding up the line and the area was so disorganized it didn’t even seem like a legitimate paying area.
Here’s the catch, I would have given this place at least 2 stars for trying, but we came here with false hopes and ideas. My mother found this place in an ad in a viet magazine that claimed to have fresh fish (which the store didn’t even have), a wide variety of fresh vegetables (which were not even that fresh and there was only a SMALL variety), etc etc. So as you can see, we were lied to! I know that other businesses put in some kind of business attracting statements that aren’t always completely true, but in this case I can just not get over it.
I understand that Viet supermarkets or whatever are not supposed to be the best, which is why I went in with understanding. But this place was just too horrific for me to just forget about and plus, the lies! This place sits upon a throne of lies!
