Quick lunch service and very decent size Gyro for under $ 7. I suggest asking for more tzatziki sauce and ordering online so you can just come and pick it up. I haven’t purchased anything else b/c it’s not worth the money. My coworkers have said that the pizza is pretty decent, especially for the price as well. The place can get a little crowded for lunch but that’s a hit or miss.

Love their sandwiches! The hummus veggie is by fave, but you can’t go wrong here.

The falafels are great. I’ve had them in a pita and by themselves. The chicken gyro is much much better than the regular one. I’ve had the regular meat gyro once and I questioned the quality of the meat with every bite… I don’t eat red meat that often so I’m sticking with the chicken from now on. I walk here from my house since I live a block away but I think the majority of their business comes from the office buildings in the neighborhood. I have yet to try the hummus but I saw that Safeway sells their brand now so it must be popular. Service is hit or miss but never rude. I don’t know why but I feel like this place is a little pricy. All in all good food.

Great place to go for a quick lunch. My favorite is the hummus veggie pita. You can choose a whole wheat pita to keep it healthy and have the option of any hummus flavor although I am partial to the jalapeño hummus. They also have tubs of hummus to go. Plus, everyone that works here is super friendly and they always get your order right.

Have only had Falafel, Gyro, and hummus here, but all of them taste great. Love this place. Staff is very friendly. It is in a business park and caters more to the business hours of the buildings around it. So it closes earlier than most food places do. Highly recommend if you’re trying to grab a quick bite to eat.

I usually stop at this place for breakfast or lunch because 1. it’s across the lot from my workplace and 2. I’m lazy. That being said, while I cannot comment on the other TPP locations, this one is sweet. The breakfast pitas are perfect for those on the go and are very flavorful; it’s probably one of the best fast-food breakfasts I’ve had. Likewise, lunch there is great and I’ll happy head there for that. A bonus to all this is that the staff not only is nice, but they clearly care about the business; while you can get good food with crappy service, having both makes things even better. So count me as a fan of the Perfect Pita.

A much improved option for pitas and gyros over the more-trendy Medi in nearby Shirlington. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for simple alternatives to subs to come here. It’s slightly hidden, but for any newcomers in the area(like Mark Center employees) there is a lot of opportunity for something other than noodles and company.

I’ve had gyros at most of the places in the city and decided to give the one at Perfect Pita a shot. Unlike other gyros it comes on a toasted and crunchy pita, not thick like the ones you’d get from a traditional Greek restaurant. The meat itself was good and it came with a the ever-tasty tzaki sauce, but the lack of feta cheese mate it sort of bland.

Great service, great food. Much healthier and delicious option than Subway and McDonalds. Chicken hummus vegi is my go-to sandwich, but I’ll rotate on the different hummus spread. The combination of bread, chicken, hummus, melted cheese and toasted finish all for a reasonable price make for a great quick lunch.

It’s just lunch. No, not the dating service but Perfect Pita is one of those strictly lunch places that caters to the 9 to 5(really like 7 to 5) glass tower set. On a business trip with a short break for lunch, we chose Perfect Pita in the Skyline Towers campus where the conference was being held. I ordered a veggie pita with hummus and a little aluminum bottle of coke(8 oz) all for $ 6.91 total. The pita was large and toasted with cucumbers, white onions, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and green peppers with crumbled feta and hummus. The pita was too large and clunky to pick up and eat easily so I ended up eating it with a fork and knife which wasn’t the easiest either. The hummus was a bit runny and I wished they would have used a thicker consistency spread. A plus was the little sample platter(complete with a sneeze splatter guard) patrons waiting for their food can graze. I tried the white bean salad which I found light and somewhat like a salsa with soft, white beans. But quick, cheap, and easy and it’s just lunch — it’s a 3.93 stars in my eyes.

Great food! I love the med salad. The BEST thing to do on a workday to get lunch is to CALLAHEAD! The line is crazy here, and if you kind of know what you want just call, get your order number, drive up, pick up your food, and you are out the door in less than 10 minutes!

This is a favorite lunch time haunt when I want something relatively substantial — besides I really love the jalapeño hummus. Probably my favorite pita is the falafel pita, though the bacon one is pretty darn good too(you know what they say about bacon!)

Only my 2nd experience with The Perfect Pita, and this time my Club Pita was more of a ho-hummmm a-ok experience… but boy was it humming with activity. There were lots of people there. My first visit in Alexandria ordering the Falafel Hummus Veggie Pita and I thought I was in Pita heaven… so I was sorta expecting that same shocking surprise. I haven’t figured out the parking situation though. I parked in Target’s gated parking lot, and just bought a few items on my way out. I’m definitely looking to come back to this location since it’s not too far from work to give the Falafel Pita another try.

Turns out the«sauce» is actually their hummus. I went back a few times and requested no sauce because it fell out the back of my pita every time and it was getting all over my shit. After listening to the cashier insist that it was only hummus, I asked for it on the side. Well it turns out the hummus is super thin to begin with and when it hits the hot pita, turns to liquid. So get your hummus on the side and use that fat stack of napkins for something else.

I’ll admit it; I don’t care for the concept of franchise restaurant chains. Without going through a litany of the reasons for my disdain, I’ll just mention one of them: The fare they serve, if their corporatized comestibles even fall within the meaning of that word, is typically high in hidden calories and low in nutritive value. However, the Perfect Pita offers some exceptions to this general observation. As I work at the Skyline tower, I eat lunch at this location two or three times per week. I customarily order the humus veggie on a whole wheat pita sans the Provolone. The pita is toasted and absolutely stuffed to the bursting point with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, green peppers, feta and humus. Indeed, as at least one other Unilocalist has observed, this can lead to a messy breach of the pita’s structural integrity during consumption. I find that bisecting the sandwich with a knife first reduces this risk greatly. In any event, for $ 4.99, it makes for a reasonably nutritious and highly economical lunch. I also order the falafel from time to time. They seem to take care to fry the patties in fresh oil, as I’ve never had a skunky-tasting falafel from the PP. On the negative side of the ledger, though, the«tzatziki» that accompanies the falafel is made from sour cream. Thus, it is not really tzatziki and should not be called such. The remainder of the pita menu consists of several meat-based variations on the humus veggie, as well some other the standard sandwich shop constructions, except applied to the pita. The PP also offers a modest array of other eastern Mediterranean specialties, like stuffed grape leaves and tabouli, prepared salads, soups and personal pizzas. A quick word on the last menu item: Avoid it unless you like eating those cheap mini-discs of dough, cheese and sauce they call«pizza» at places like Pizza Hut. Before closing, I should also mention the staff & management. The PP receives a flood tide of hungry customers at lunch every day, and, although the line can grow to be quite long, they have a reasonably efficient and reliable system for taking the order, executing it correctly and sending the customer on his way. I’ve been patronizing their business since it opened a couple of years ago, and several of the employees have been there from its inception, which, I’m sure, is no small part of the success of their operation. 3.49 black beans.

Force-feeding is a good thing. Whether it’s geese, duck, or push-up bras; everything could use more mass than it’s volume allows. Not all things overstuffed may look beautiful; however, overstuffed Pitas are beautiful. The Perfect Pita’s Pita being the most swan-like of all. They are so obviously bloated, bulging with whatever space-defying filler you choose. It amazes me that they do not simply explode when picked up. But even better than the parlor trick is how tasty said stuffing is! The tzatziki, lettuce, and tomatoes here are good on their own, but perfect partners for the regular Mediterranean hosts: chicken, gyro, and falafel. Quick and affordable, The Perfect Pita should be one of your staple lunch spots.

A solid 3 here. My buddy was paying for me so I liked it that much better. I had the Club pita and some bomb chips. They have a good selection of chips; Route11 and Mama Zuma. The place is clean and not open on Sunday. They have free samples of stuff to put on pita bread while you wait, sweet. My financial backer got the chicken and hummus pita and it looked good, I’ll get that next time.

I LOVE chicken veggie hummus pitas. They used to make the BEST ones at The Spice of Life Café in Rosslyn so this place had a lot to live up to. I was disappointed. The portion size and presentation totally ruined the meal. The pita was ginormous and on top of that the hummus was just spewing out making it impossible to eat. I wouldn’t recommend getting anything with hummus… unless you want to wear it. HAHAHA!

***** 3.5 stars ***** This is a nice little Pita shop on the outskirts of Tyson’s Corner. I’m guessing it’s some kind of chain, but it has that indie-owned feel to it. The owner/manager was really nice, and gave me a few recommendations. The grilled gyro I had was actually very good, and they even give you extra Tz sauce to smear on, mmmmm. They sell the Mama Zuma habanero chips which have become my new favorites. There was even a big spread of different kinds of hummus laid out for people to taste free samples, something you definitely don’t see at the big chain fast food sandwich places(ie: subway, quiznos, etc).
