This Motor Inn is reminiscent of the 1950’s and frankly, hasn’t changed since. It’s in a corner of Broad Street in Falls Church, and busily frequented by tourists looking for inexpensive lodging, as well as, I’m sure, by politicians looking for the anonymity of a lunch-time tryst after which they can go back to Congress to make speeches about morality… The architecture is an anachronism in the modern day, gentrified Falls Church. It resembles more a beach motel in Provincetown MA than a venue in a modern metropolitan area.
